Manjeshwar, November 17, 2025: After four months of treatment at the Women’s Wing of Snehalaya Psycho-Social Rehabilitation Center, 30-year-old Mrs. Amulya has been reunited with her family.
Amulya had been missing since April and was found with psychiatric issues, including talking to herself. She was brought to Snehalaya on June 20, 2025, by Ms. Ramyashree, Superintendent of Prajna Swadhara Center, Mangalore.
At Snehalaya, continuous medical care, behavioral therapy, and guidance from counselors helped Amulya show remarkable improvement in her condition. During the course of treatment, she recalled and shared her home address. Based on this information, the psychosocial team was able to trace her family.
On November 4, 2025, the Snehalaya team arrived in Guntur, Andhra Pradesh, where Amulya’s father, Mr. Sontena Shivarao, warmly welcomed Amulya and the Snehalaya team and took them home. This reunion marked the end of several months of uncertainty and hardship, bringing immense joy to the family.
This successful rehabilitation and reunion stand as yet another example of the compassion, dedication, and humanitarian service provided by Snehalaya Charitable Trust and Prajna Swadhara Center, Mangalore. Warm wishes to Amulya for a peaceful and happy life with her family.

ಮಂಜೇಶ್ವರ, ನವೆಂಬರ್ 17, 2025: ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯ ಮಾನಸಿಕ ಪುನರ್ವಸತಿ ಕೇಂದ್ರದ ಮಹಿಳಾ ವಿಭಾಗದಲ್ಲಿ ನಾಲ್ಕು ತಿಂಗಳ ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆಯ ನಂತರ, 30 ವರ್ಷದ ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಅಮೂಲ್ಯ ತಮ್ಮ ಕುಟುಂಬದೊಡನೆ ಪುನರ್ಮಿಲನಗೊಂಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
ಅಮೂಲ್ಯ ಕಳೆದ ಏಪ್ರಿಲ್ ತಿಂಗಳಿನಿಂದ ಕಾಣೆಯಾಗಿದ್ದರು. ಮನೋವೈಕಲ್ಯ ತನ್ನಲ್ಲಿಯೇ ಮಾತನಾಡುವ ಸ್ವಭಾವವನ್ನು ಹೊಂದಿದ್ದ ಇವರು ದಿನಾಂಕ 20 ಜೂನ್ 2025 ರಂದು ಮಂಗಳೂರಿನ ಪ್ರಜ್ಞ ಸ್ವಧಾರ ಕೇಂದ್ರದ ಅಧೀಕ್ಷಕಿ ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ರಮ್ಯಶ್ರೀ ಅವರಿಂದ ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯಕ್ಕೆ ತರಿಸಲಾಯಿತು.
ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯದಲ್ಲಿ ನಿರಂತರ ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆ, ವರ್ತನಾ ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸಾ ನೆರವು ಹಾಗೂ ಸಲಹೆಗಾರರ ಮಾರ್ಗದರ್ಶನದಿಂದ ಅಮೂಲ್ಯ ಅವರ ಆರೋಗ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ದೊಡ್ಡ ಮಟ್ಟದ ಸುಧಾರಣೆ ಕಂಡುಬಂತು. ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆ ನಡುವೆಯೇ ಅವರು ತಮ್ಮ ಮನೆ ವಿಳಾಸವನ್ನು ನೆನೆದು ಹಂಚಿಕೊಂಡರು. ಇದರ ಆಧಾರದ ಮೇಲೆ ಮನೋಸಾಮಾಜಿಕ ಕಾರ್ಯಕರ್ತರು ಅವರ ಕುಟುಂಬವನ್ನು ಪತ್ತೆಹಚ್ಚಿದರು.
ನವೆಂಬರ್ 4, 2025 ರಂದು ಆಂಧ್ರಪ್ರದೇಶದ ಗುಂಟೂರಿಗೆ ಆಗಮಿಸಿದ ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯ ತಂಡ ಮತ್ತು ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಅಮೂಲ್ಯರವರನ್ನು ಅವರ ತಂದೆ ಶ್ರೀ ಸೋಂಟೇನಾ ಶಿವರಾವ್ ರವರು ಹೃತ್ಪೂರ್ವಕವಾಗಿ ಸ್ವಾಗತಿಸಿ ಮನೆಗೆ ಕರೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಹೋದರು. ಆರು ತಿಂಗಳ ಅನಿಶ್ಚಿತತೆ ಮತ್ತು ಕಷ್ಟಗಳಿಗೆ ತೆರೆ ಬಿದ್ದ ಈ ಪುನರ್ಮಿಲನ ಕುಟುಂಬಕ್ಕೆ ದೊಡ್ಡ ಸಂತೋಷ ತಂದಿತು.
