Manjeshwar, November 12, 2025: A woman identified as Sofiya, approximately in her early 30s, was rescued by the Snehalaya Psycho-Social Rehabilitation Centre (SPSRC) team from Manjeshwar Railway Station after being found wandering in a helpless and disoriented condition.
According to information received by Br. Joseph Crasta, the founder of Snehalaya Charitable Trust, Sofiya appeared to be suffering from mental distress and showed visible signs of confusion and exhaustion. Acting swiftly, the SPSRC rescue team intervened and ensured her safe rescue and transfer to the centre.
Sofiya has been admitted to Snehalaya, Manjeshwar, where she is currently receiving medical care, psychological support, and rehabilitation services. The team is also working to trace her family members to facilitate her safe reunion.

ಮಂಜೇಶ್ವರ, ನವೆಂಬರ್ 12, 2025: ಸುಮಾರು 30 ವರ್ಷ ವಯಸ್ಸಿನ ಸೋಫಿಯಾ ಎಂಬ ಮಹಿಳೆ ಮಂಜೇಶ್ವರ ರೈಲು ನಿಲ್ದಾಣದಲ್ಲಿ ನಿರಾಶ್ರಿತ ಮತ್ತು ಗೊಂದಲದ ಸ್ಥಿತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕಂಡ ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯ ತಂಡ ತುರ್ತು ಕ್ರಮ ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಅವಳನ್ನು ರಕ್ಷಿಸಿತು.
