Manjeshwar, November 10, 2025: A woman identified as Mrs. Haseena was rescued by the Snehalaya team from Mangalore Central Railway Station after being found wandering in a helpless and disoriented condition.
According to information received by Br. Joseph Crasta, the founder of Snehalaya Charitable Trust, Mrs. Haseena appeared to be suffering from mental distress and displayed signs of confusion and poor hygiene. Recognizing her vulnerable state, the Snehalaya Psycho-Social Rehabilitation Centre team promptly intervened and ensured her safe rescue.
Ms. Haseena was admitted to Snehalaya, Manjeshwar, where she is currently receiving medical care, psychological support, and rehabilitation services. The team is making efforts to trace her family to facilitate a safe reunion.
