Manjeshwar, October 27, 2025: A man identified as Mr. Pawan Pandit was rescued by the Manjeshwar Police from Uppala Town, Kasaragod, on October 19, 2025, at around 3:30 p.m. Following the rescue, he was safely admitted to the Snehalaya Psycho-Social Rehabilitation Centre, Manjeshwar, for care and rehabilitation.

According to Snehalaya staff, Mr. Pandit was found in a vulnerable and distressed condition, appearing disoriented and without shelter or support. He was unable to provide clear personal information or details about his family, suggesting that he may be suffering from a psychosocial or mental health condition.

At Snehalaya, Mr. Pandit is now receiving psychiatric evaluation, medical treatment, and emotional support under the supervision of trained professionals. The team is providing all necessary care to ensure his safety, recovery, and well-being.

Efforts are currently underway to trace his family and background in hopes of facilitating a safe and timely reunion.
