ಮಂಜೇಶ್ವರ, ಮಾರ್ಚ್ 12, 2026: ಸಂಕಷ್ಟದಲ್ಲಿದ್ದ ಒಬ್ಬ ಮಹಿಳೆಗೆ ರಕ್ಷಣೆ ಮತ್ತು ಆರೈಕೆ ನೀಡುವ ಉದ್ದೇಶದಿಂದ, ತೆಲಂಗಾಣ ಮೂಲದ ಭಾವನಾ ಎಂಬ ಮಹಿಳೆಯನ್ನು ಮಂಗಳೂರು ಜಂಕ್ಷನ್ ರೈಲು ನಿಲ್ದಾಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಮಾನಸಿಕವಾಗಿ ಅಲೆದಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದ ಸ್ಥಿತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕಂಡುಬಂದ ನಂತರ ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯ ಮನೋಸಾಮಾಜಿಕ ಪುನರ್ವಸತಿ ಕೇಂದ್ರಕ್ಕೆ ದಾಖಲಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ.
ಭವನಾ ಅವರು ಅಲೆದಾಡುವ ವರ್ತನೆ, ಅನುಮಾನಭಾವ ಮತ್ತು ಕೆಲವೊಮ್ಮೆ ಆಕ್ರಮಣಕಾರಿ ವರ್ತನೆ ತೋರಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದರಿಂದ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಮಾನಸಿಕ ಆರೋಗ್ಯದ ಸಮಸ್ಯೆ ಇರಬಹುದೆಂಬ ಅನುಮಾನ ಮೂಡಿದ್ದು, ತಕ್ಷಣದ ಆರೈಕೆ ಮತ್ತು ಸುರಕ್ಷಿತ ಪರಿಸರದ ಅಗತ್ಯ ಕಂಡುಬಂದಿತು.
ಮಂಗಳೂರು ಜಂಕ್ಷನ್ ರೈಲು ನಿಲ್ದಾಣದ ಟ್ಯಾಕ್ಸಿ ಚಾಲಕರಾದ ಶ್ರೀ ಸುನಿಲ್ ಕುಮಾರ್ ಅವರು ಮಹಿಳೆಯ ಅಸಹಾಯಕ ಪರಿಸ್ಥಿತಿಯನ್ನು ಗಮನಿಸಿ ಸಂಬಂಧಪಟ್ಟವರಿಗೆ ಮಾಹಿತಿ ನೀಡಿದರು. ಅವರು ಬ್ರದರ್ ಜೋಸೆಫ್ ಕ್ರಾಸ್ತಾ ಅವರಿಗೆ ವಿಷಯವನ್ನು ತಿಳಿಸಿದ ನಂತರ ತಕ್ಷಣ ಕ್ರಮ ಕೈಗೊಳ್ಳಲಾಯಿತು.
ನಂತರ ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯ ತಂಡ ಸ್ಥಳಕ್ಕೆ ತೆರಳಿ ಮಂಗಳೂರು ಜಂಕ್ಷನ್ ರೈಲು ನಿಲ್ದಾಣದಿಂದ ಅವರನ್ನು ಸುರಕ್ಷಿತವಾಗಿ ಕರೆತಂದು ರಕ್ಷಣೆ ನೀಡಿತು.
ಮಾರ್ಚ್ 10, 2026 ರಂದು ಭಾವನಾ ಅವರನ್ನು ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯ ಮನೋಸಾಮಾಜಿಕ ಪುನರ್ವಸತಿ ಕೇಂದ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ಅಧಿಕೃತವಾಗಿ ದಾಖಲಿಸಿ ವೈದ್ಯಕೀಯ ಪರೀಕ್ಷೆ, ಸ್ವಚ್ಛತೆ, ಸಮಾಲೋಚನೆ (ಕೌನ್ಸೆಲಿಂಗ್) ಮತ್ತು ಸಂಪೂರ್ಣ ಪುನರ್ವಸತಿ ಸೇವೆಗಳನ್ನು ನೀಡಲಾಗುತ್ತಿದೆ.
ಬ್ರದರ್ ಜೋಸೆಫ್ ಕ್ರಾಸ್ತಾ ಅವರ ಮಾರ್ಗದರ್ಶನದಲ್ಲಿ ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆ ಅಲೆದಾಡುವ, ತ್ಯಜಿಸಲ್ಪಟ್ಟ ಅಥವಾ ಸಂಕಷ್ಟದಲ್ಲಿರುವ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿಗಳನ್ನು ರಕ್ಷಿಸಿ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಮಾನವೀಯತೆ, ಆರೈಕೆ ಮತ್ತು ಪುನರ್ವಸತಿ ನೀಡುವ ಕಾರ್ಯವನ್ನು ಮುಂದುವರೆಸುತ್ತಿದೆ.

Shelter and Support: Woman Found Wandering at Mangalore Junction Admitted to Snehalaya
Manjeshwar, March 12, 2026: In a compassionate step to protect and support a vulnerable individual in distress, Ms. Bhavana, a native of Telangana, was admitted to Snehalaya Psychosocial Rehabilitation Centre after being found wandering in a distressed condition at Mangalore Junction Railway Station.
Ms. Bhavana was observed exhibiting wandering behaviour, suspiciousness, and aggressive behaviour, indicating a possible mental health crisis and the urgent need for structured care, safety, and psychosocial rehabilitation.
The matter was responsibly brought to attention by Mr. Sunil Kumar, a taxi driver at Mangalore Junction Railway Station, who noticed her vulnerable condition and informed the concerned persons. Mr. Sunil Kumar informed Br. Joseph Crasta, after which immediate action was taken.
Acting promptly, the Snehalaya Team reached the location and safely brought her under protective care from Mangalore Junction Railway Station.
On March 10, 2026, Ms. Bhavana was formally admitted to Snehalaya Psychosocial Rehabilitation Centre for medical evaluation, personal hygiene support, counselling, and comprehensive psychosocial rehabilitation in a secure and compassionate environment.
Under the compassionate leadership of Br. Joseph Crasta, Snehalaya continues its mission of reaching out to individuals who are wandering, abandoned, or in distress—restoring dignity, providing protection, and creating pathways toward healing and social reintegration.
