ಮಂಜೇಶ್ವರ, ಮಾರ್ಚ್ 05, 2026: ಮನಸ್ಸನ್ನು ಸ್ಪರ್ಶಿಸುವ ಒಂದು ಸಂತಸದ ಕ್ಷಣದಲ್ಲಿ, ತಮಿಳುನಾಡಿನ ವಿಲ್ಲುಪುರಂ ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಯ ಕುತಿರೈಚಂದಲ್ ಗ್ರಾಮದ ಈಸ್ಟ್ ಸ್ಟ್ರೀಟ್ ಮೂಲದ ಕಲೀಮಾ (ಪತಿಯ ಹೆಸರು: ಪೆರಿಯಸಾಮಿ) ಅವರು 04-03-2026 ರಂದು ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯ ಚಾರಿಟೇಬಲ್ ಟ್ರಸ್ಟ್‌ನಲ್ಲಿ ತಮ್ಮ ಮಗ ಮುರುಗನ್ ಅವರೊಂದಿಗೆ ಮರುಸೇರಿದರು. ತಮ್ಮ ತಾಯಿಯನ್ನು ಸುರಕ್ಷಿತವಾಗಿ ಮನೆಗೆ ಕರೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಹೋಗಲು ಮುರುಗನ್ ಅವರು ಸ್ವತಃ ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯಕ್ಕೆ ಆಗಮಿಸಿದ ಕ್ಷಣ ಎಲ್ಲರಲ್ಲೂ ಸಂತೋಷ ಮತ್ತು ಹರ್ಷವನ್ನು ಮೂಡಿಸಿತು.

ಕಲೀಮಾ ಅವರು ಇದಕ್ಕೂ ಮೊದಲು ಮಂಗಳೂರು ಸಮೀಪದ ಅಂಬ್ಲಮೊಗರು, ಕೊಣಾಜೆ ಪ್ರದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ಅಲೆದಾಡುತ್ತಿರುವ ಸ್ಥಿತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕಂಡುಬಂದಿದ್ದರು. ಅವರು ಅಸ್ವಸ್ಥ ಮತ್ತು ಗೊಂದಲಭರಿತ ಸ್ಥಿತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕಾಣಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದು, ವೈಯಕ್ತಿಕ ಸ್ವಚ್ಛತೆಯ ಕೊರತೆ ಹಾಗೂ ದಿಕ್ಕುತೋಚದ ವರ್ತನೆಗಳಿಂದ ಬಳಲುತ್ತಿರುವುದು ಗಮನಕ್ಕೆ ಬಂದಿತ್ತು. ತಕ್ಷಣದ ಆರೈಕೆ ಮತ್ತು ಮಾನವೀಯ ಸಹಾಯ ಅವಶ್ಯಕವಾಗಿರುವುದು ಸ್ಪಷ್ಟವಾಗಿತ್ತು.

ಮುರುಗನ್ ಅವರು ತಮ್ಮ ತಾಯಿಯನ್ನು ಕಷ್ಟದ ಸಮಯದಲ್ಲಿ ರಕ್ಷಿಸಿ ಆರೈಕೆ ಮಾಡಿದಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯ ಹಾಗೂ ಬ್ರ. ಜೋಸೆಫ್ ಕ್ರಾಸ್ತಾ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಹೃತ್ಪೂರ್ವಕ ಕೃತಜ್ಞತೆ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಪಡಿಸಿದರು.

From Wandering to a Joyful Reunion: Kaleema Reunited with Her Son

Manjeshwar, March 05, 2026: In a heartwarming moment of restoration and relief , Ms. Kaleema, W/O Periyasamy, a native of, East Street, Kuthiraichandal, Viluppuram District, Tamil Nadu , was successfully reunited with her son, Mr. Murugan, on 04/03/2026 at Snehalaya Charitable Trust . The reunion brought immense joy as her son personally arrived at Snehalaya to take his mother safely back to their home.

Kaleema had earlier been found wandering in Amblamogaru, Konaje , in a distressed and disoriented condition. She was reportedly struggling with poor personal hygiene and wandering behaviour, appearing without proper care or supervision and clearly in need of immediate assistance and compassionate support.

The situation was brought to notice by Ms. Reshma S. , who promptly informed the Konaje Police, Mangalore. Responding swiftly to the situation, the Konaje Police ensured her safe rescue and transfer to Snehalaya Charitable Trust, Kasaragod, Kerala, for protection and rehabilitation.

Upon receiving the information, Br. Joseph Crasta, Founder of Snehalaya Charitable Trust, personally coordinated the admission process and ensured that Kaleema was received with dignity, patience, and compassionate reassurance. Under his guidance, the Snehalaya team facilitated her safe admission and immediate care.

On March 02, 2026, Kaleema was officially admitted under Snehalaya’s care for medical evaluation, personal hygiene support, and psycho-social rehabilitation. In the safe and nurturing environment of the rehabilitation centre, her physical and emotional well-being were carefully monitored while efforts were undertaken to trace her family members.

Through dedicated follow-up and communication, her son, Mr. Murugan, was successfully contacted. Without delay, he travelled to Snehalaya to reunite with his mother. The reunion on March 04, 2026, was deeply emotional, reflecting gratitude, relief, and renewed hope as mother and son embraced after the difficult circumstances that had separated them.

Mr. Murugan expressed heartfelt appreciation to Snehalaya and Br. Joseph Crasta for their timely intervention, compassionate care, and for safeguarding his mother during her vulnerable period.
