ತಮಿಳುನಾಡಿನ ಚಿನ್ನಸಾಲೇಂ ಸಮೀಪದ ಸೆಲ್ಲಂಪಟ್, ಕಲ್ಲಾಕುಚ್ಚಿ ಗ್ರಾಮದ ಮೂಲ ನಿವಾಸಿಯಾದ ಶ್ರೀ ನಾಟರಾಜ್ ಅವರು ಬಾಲ್ಯದಿಂದಲೇ ಮಾನಸಿಕ ಅಸ್ವಸ್ಥತೆಯಿಂದ ಬಳಲುತ್ತಿದ್ದು, ತಮ್ಮ ಮಾನಸಿಕ ಸ್ಥಿತಿಯ ಕಾರಣದಿಂದ ಅಲೆದಾಡುವ ಅಭ್ಯಾಸ ಹೊಂದಿದ್ದರು. ಅವರು ಏಕಾಏಕಿ ಕಾಣೆಯಾಗಿದ್ದರಿಂದ, ಕುಟುಂಬವು ಪೊಲೀಸ್ ದೂರು ದಾಖಲಿಸಿದ್ದರೂ ಅವರ ಪತ್ತೆ ಸಾಧ್ಯವಾಗಿರಲಿಲ್ಲ.

26-01-2026 ರಂದು, ಮಂಜೇಶ್ವರದ ಸಾಯಿನಿಕೇತನ ಮಾನಸಿಕ ಅಸ್ವಸ್ಥರ ಪುನರ್‌ಚೇತನ ಕೇಂದ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ಅವರು ಉತ್ತಮ ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆ ಹಾಗೂ ಪ್ರೀತಿ-ವಿಶ್ವಾಸದ ಆರೈಕೆಯನ್ನು ಪಡೆದು ಆರೋಗ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಸುಧಾರಣೆ ಕಂಡರು. ನಂತರ ‘ಪ್ರತ್ಯಾಶ’ ಯೋಜನೆಯಡಿ ಅವರನ್ನು ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯಕ್ಕೆ ಕರೆತರಲಾಯಿತು. ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯದ ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆ ಮತ್ತು ಮೇಲ್ವಿಚಾರಣೆಯ ಫಲವಾಗಿ ಅವರ ವಿಳಾಸವನ್ನು ಪತ್ತೆಹಚ್ಚುವಲ್ಲಿ ಯಶಸ್ಸು ದೊರೆಯಿತು.

ದಿನಾಂಕ 05-02-2026 ರಂದು ಅವರನ್ನು ಸಂತೋಷಭರಿತವಾಗಿ ಕುಟುಂಬದವರೊಂದಿಗೆ ಮರುಭೇಟಿ ಮಾಡಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. ತಮ್ಮ ಮಗನನ್ನು ಸುರಕ್ಷಿತವಾಗಿ ಮನೆಗೆ ಮರಳಿಸಿದಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಕುಟುಂಬವು ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯಕ್ಕೆ ಹೃತ್ಪೂರ್ವಕ ಕೃತಜ್ಞತೆ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಿದೆ.

From Wandering to Warmth: Snehalaya Reunites Nataraj with His Family in Tamil Nadu

Manjeshwar, February 17, 2026: In a touching act of compassion, Snehalaya Psycho-Social Rehabilitation Centre, under the guidance of Br. Joseph Crasta, successfully reunited Mr. Nataraj with his family in Tamil Nadu after four months of uncertainty.

A native of Kallakuchi, Sellampat, Chinnasalem, Mr. Nataraj had been suffering from psychiatric illness since childhood and was known to wander due to his condition. After he suddenly went missing, his family filed a police complaint but could not trace him.

On 26/01/2026, he received proper treatment and compassionate care with love and trust at Sainiketan Mental Health Rehabilitation Centre in Manjeshwar, which led to an improvement in his health. Later, under the ‘Pratyasha’ project, he was brought to Snehalaya. Through Snehalaya’s treatment and monitoring, they successfully traced his address.

On 05/02/2026, he was joyfully reunited with his loved ones. The family expressed heartfelt gratitude to Snehalaya for bringing their son back home safely.
