Manjeshwar, January 11, 2026: Mr. Ramesh Aribail , a native of Aribail, Hosangadi, was safely rescued and admitted to the Snehalaya Psycho-Social Rehabilitation Centre after being found in a vulnerable condition on the streets of Uppala.

The admission took place on January 06, 2026, after Mr. Ramesh was noticed wandering on Uppala Street exhibiting symptoms such as anxiety, reduced speech, wandering behavior, poor personal hygiene, and thought disturbance symptoms (TDS). The information was first reported by Mr. Hameed V., a concerned public person, and was subsequently conveyed to Br. Joseph Crasta, leading to prompt intervention by the Snehalaya team.

Responding swiftly, the Snehalaya team ensured his safe rescue and transportation to the rehabilitation centre. Considering his mental and physical condition and the immediate need for care, protection, and supervision, the Snehalaya team admitted him for further observation and treatment.

Following admission, Mr. Ramesh has been provided with necessary medical care, close monitoring, and psycho-social support. Detailed assessments are currently underway to better understand his condition, background, and personal history. Efforts will also be initiated to trace his family members and facilitate possible reunion.
