Manjeshwar, December 5, 2025: A man identified as Mr. Dheeraj, who was wandering on the Kasaragod road without knowing his own identity, was identified by the police and safely admitted to the Snehalaya Psycho-Social Rehabilitation Centre on Friday. He was brought in by Kasaragod Police Station S.I. Shaju A C, who ensured his immediate rescue considering his critical condition.
According to available information, Dheeraj was found with swelling in both legs, wandering behaviour, and signs of suspiciousness. Noticing that he required urgent medical and psychological attention, the police contacted Br. Joseph Crasta, the founder of Snehalaya, and arranged for his safe admission to the Men’s Ward of the Psycho-Social Rehabilitation Centre.
Dheeraj was admitted on 05-12-2025, and he is currently undergoing medical examination, psychological assessment, and rehabilitation treatment. The Snehalaya team is also collecting his personal details and making efforts to trace his family members.
