Manjeshwar, December 4, 2025: A man identified as Mr. Banti , who was found wandering on the streets and exhibiting signs of social withdrawal, has been admitted to the Snehalaya Psycho-Social Rehabilitation Centre . Staff members of Kripa Charitable Trust, Kannur, noticed his vulnerable mental condition and ensured his safe transfer to Snehalaya.
According to information shared with Br. Joseph Crasta, Founder of Snehalaya Charitable Trust, Banti displayed symptoms such as wandering behaviour and emotional detachment. Recognizing the need for timely intervention, he was admitted for rehabilitation and treatment. Banti is currently receiving comprehensive care at Snehalaya, which includes medical evaluation, psychological support, and social rehabilitation services. Efforts are also underway to trace his family and facilitate a safe reunion.
