Manjeshwar, December 03, 2025: Mr. Baljindhar Kumar, a native of Govindgarh, Ludhiana District, Punjab, who had been missing for two years, was joyfully reunited with his family through the dedicated efforts of Snehalaya Charitable Trust, Kasaragod, in collaboration with Shraddha Foundation, Mumbai.

Mr. Baljindhar was rescued by the Snehalaya team on August 15, 2025, after he was found wandering along Kunjathoor Street, Manjeshwar, in a highly disoriented and unstable state. He was brought to the centre after a timely alert from Mr. Abdul Jabbar, an auto driver from Manjeshwar, whose prompt action ensured his safety. Upon admission, he displayed aggressive behaviour, inappropriate self-smiling, absconding tendencies, and other symptoms indicative of chronic psychiatric distress.

Before his disappearance, Mr. Baljindhar had been employed in a factory and had a known history of mental illness. His two-year absence began when he mistakenly boarded the wrong train while attempting to visit his brother’s home, which led to him going missing. Despite the family’s continuous search, no missing person complaint had been filed during this period.

Through consistent psychiatric care, behavioural therapy, and psychosocial rehabilitation at Snehalaya, Mr. Baljindhar gradually regained mental clarity and was eventually able to recall important details about his family and hometown. This significant progress enabled the team to successfully trace his relatives in Punjab.

On October 15, 2025, he was warmly reunited with his brother, sister-in-law, and family members, who received him with deep emotion and immeasurable relief. The reunion also brought immense joy to the villagers and neighbours who had long awaited news of his whereabouts. Mr. Baljindhar, who is separated from his wife and is the father of one daughter, is now safely back under the care and warmth of his family.

This remarkable rescue, rehabilitation, and reunion stand as a testament to the steadfast humanitarian mission of Snehalaya Charitable Trust and Shraddha Foundation, both of which continue to restore dignity, hope, and family bonds for vulnerable individuals lost to circumstances beyond their control.

ಮಂಜೇಶ್ವರ, ಡಿಸೆಂಬರ್ 03, 2025: ಪಂಜಾಬಿನ ಲುಧಿಯಾನಾ ಜಿಲ್ಲಾ, ಗೋವಿಂದಗಢ ಮೂಲದ ಶ್ರೀ ಬಾಲ್ಜಿಂದರ್ ಕುಮಾರ್ ಅವರು ಎರಡು ವರ್ಷದ ಕಾಲ ಕಾಣೆಯಾಗಿದ್ದರೂ, ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯ ಚಾರಿಟೇಬಲ್ ಟ್ರಸ್ಟ್, ಕಾಸರಗೋಡು ಅವರ ಪರಿಶ್ರಮ ಮತ್ತು ಮುಂಬೈನ ಶ್ರದ್ದಾ ಫೌಂಡೇಶನ್ ಅವರ ಸಹಕಾರದಿಂದ ಕುಟುಂಬದ ಒಡಲಿಗೆ ಪುನಃ ಸೇರಿಸಲ್ಪಟ್ಟಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

2025ರ ಆಗಸ್ಟ್ 15ರಂದು, ಮಂಜೇಶ್ವರದ ಕುಂಜತ್ತೂರು ಬೀದಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ದಿಗ್ಭ್ರಮೆಗೆ ಒಳಗಾದ ಮತ್ತು ಅಸ್ಥಿರ ಸ್ಥಿತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಅಲೆದಾಡುತ್ತಿರುವುದನ್ನು ಕಂಡು, ಮಂಜೇಶ್ವರದ ಆಟೊ ಚಾಲಕರಾದ ಶ್ರೀ ಅಬ್ದುಲ್ ಜಬ್ಬಾರ್ ಅವರು ನೀಡಿದ ತಕ್ಷಣದ ಮಾಹಿತಿಯ ಆಧಾರದಲ್ಲಿ ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯ ತಂಡವು ಅವರನ್ನು ರಕ್ಷಿಸಿತು. ಕೇಂದ್ರಕ್ಕೆ ತರಲಾಗುವ ವೇಳೆಗೆ, ಅವರು ಆಕ್ರೋಶಭರಿತ ವರ್ತನೆ, ಅಸಂಗತ ನಗು, ತಪ್ಪಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವ ಪ್ರವೃತ್ತಿ ಮತ್ತು ದೀರ್ಘಕಾಲದ ಮಾನಸಿಕ ಒತ್ತಡವನ್ನು ಸೂಚಿಸುವ ಹಲವು ಲಕ್ಷಣಗಳನ್ನು ತೋರಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದರು.

ಕಾಣೆಯಾಗುವದರ ಹಿಂದಿನ ದಿನಗಳಲ್ಲಿ, ಶ್ರೀ ಬಾಲ್ಜಿಂದರ್ ಫ್ಯಾಕ್ಟರಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಉದ್ಯೋಗದಲ್ಲಿದ್ದರು ಮತ್ತು ಅವರಿಗೆ ಮಾನಸಿಕ ಆರೋಗ್ಯ ಸಮಸ್ಯೆಯ ಹಿನ್ನೆಲೆಯೂ ಇತ್ತು. ತಮ್ಮ ಸಹೋದರರ ಮನೆಗೆ ತೆರಳುವ ಸಂದರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ ತಪ್ಪಾಗಿ ಬೇರೆ ರೈಲಿಗೆ ಹತ್ತಿರುವುದರಿಂದ ಅವರು ಎರಡು ವರ್ಷಗಳ ಕಾಲ ಕಾಣೆಯಾಗಿದ್ದರು. ಕುಟುಂಬವು ನಿರಂತರವಾಗಿ ಹುಡುಕಿದರೂ, ಈ ಅವಧಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಯಾವುದೇ ಮಿಸ್ಸಿಂಗ್ ಕಂಪ್ಲೈಂಟ್ ದಾಖಲೆಯಾಗಿರಲಿಲ್ಲ.

2025ರ ಅಕ್ಟೋಬರ್ 15ರಂದು, ಅವರು ತಮ್ಮ ಸಹೋದರ, ಸಹೋದರಿಯವರ ಪತ್ನಿ ಹಾಗೂ ಕುಟುಂಬದ ಇತರ ಸದಸ್ಯರನ್ನು ಮತ್ತೆ ಭೇಟಿ ಮಾಡಿ, ಕುಟುಂಬದವರು ಕಣ್ಣೀರಿನ ಭಾವನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಅವರನ್ನು ಆತ್ಮೀಯವಾಗಿ ಸ್ವಾಗತಿಸಿದರು. ಈ ಮಿಲನವು ಬಹುಕಾಲದಿಂದ ಅವರ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಮಾಹಿತಿ ನಿರೀಕ್ಷಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದ ಗ್ರಾಮಸ್ಥರಿಗೆ ಮತ್ತು ನೆರೆಹೊರೆಯವರಿಗೆ ಅಪಾರ ಸಂತೋಷವನ್ನು ತಂದಿತು. ಪತ್ನಿಯಿಂದ ಪ್ರತ್ಯೇಕವಾಗಿರುವ ಮತ್ತು ಒಬ್ಬ ಹೆಣ್ಣುಮಕ್ಕಳ ತಂದೆಯಾಗಿರುವ ಶ್ರೀ ಬಾಲ್ಜಿಂದರ್ ಈಗ ತಮ್ಮ ಕುಟುಂಬದ ಸೌಹಾರ್ದ ಮತ್ತು ಆರೈಕೆಯಲ್ಲಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
