Manjeshwar, December 01, 2025: A four-year-long disappearance came to a close when Mr. Jitendranath , a native of Kurathahiya, Sitamarhi district, Bihar, was successfully reunited with his family, following the timely intervention and dedicated efforts of Snehalaya Charitable Trust, Manjeshwar.

On August 4, 2025, Mr. Jitendranath was found wandering in a highly disoriented state, displaying clear signs of mental instability. The situation was noticed by a concerned citizen, Mr. Steavan Montiero, who immediately informed Snehalaya’s founder, Br. Joseph Crasta. Acting swiftly, Mr. Steavan transported the distressed individual to the Snehalaya Psychiatric Rehabilitation Centre, where he was admitted for treatment.

According to Mr. Steavan, at the time of rescue, Mr. Jitendranath was confused, mentally unstable, and in need of urgent medical attention. An initial assessment by the Snehalaya medical team confirmed that he required intensive psychiatric care and continuous monitoring.

During rehabilitation, it was revealed that Mr. Jitendranath had been missing for four years, and no formal missing complaint had been filed by his family during this period. He had a history of mental illness and had previously worked in a factory. Further details indicated that he had spent 12 years in jail after being convicted of assaulting his wife. Following his release, he went missing. His mother had passed away, his father works in Mumbai, and his daughter is currently living under the care of her maternal uncle.

Through consistent treatment, patient engagement, and gradual recovery, the Snehalaya team was able to gather enough information to trace his family in Bihar. Upon being contacted, the family responded cooperatively and agreed to take him back.

With all procedures completed, Mr. Jitendranath was happily reunited with his family on November 6, 2025, bringing relief and closure after years of uncertainty. The family expressed their gratitude to Snehalaya Charitable Trust for their compassionate support and life-restoring service.

ಪುನರ್ವಸತಿ ಅವಧಿಯಲ್ಲಿ, ಶ್ರೀ ಜೀತೇಂದ್ರನಾಥ ಅವರು ನಾಲ್ಕು ವರ್ಷಗಳಿಂದ ಕಾಣೆಯಾಗಿದ್ದರು ಹಾಗೂ ಈ ಅವಧಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕುಟುಂಬದವರು ಯಾವುದೇ ಶಿಕಾಯತ್ ದಾಖಲಿಸಿರಲಿಲ್ಲ ಎಂದು ತಿಳಿದುಬಂತು. ಅವರಿಗೆ ಪೂರ್ವದಲ್ಲೇ ಮಾನಸಿಕ ಅಸ್ವಸ್ಥತೆಯ ಇತಿಹಾಸವಿದ್ದು, ಒಂದು ಕಾರ್ಖಾನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕೆಲಸ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದರೂ ಎಂದು ತಿಳಿದುಬಂತು. ತಮ್ಮ ಪತ್ನಿಗೆ ಹಲ್ಲೆ ಮಾಡಿದ ಪ್ರಕರಣದಲ್ಲಿ 12 ವರ್ಷ ಜೈಲು ಶಿಕ್ಷೆ ಅನುಭವಿಸಿದ ನಂತರ ಅವರು ಕಾಣೆಯಾಗಿದ್ದರು. ಅವರ ತಾಯಿ ನಿಧನರಾಗಿದ್ದು, ತಂದೆ ಮುಂಬೈಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕಾರ್ಮಿಕರಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಅವರ ಮಗಳು ಇದೀಗ ಅವರ ಮಾಮನ ಮನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ವಾಸಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾಳೆ.
