Manjeshwar, November 26, 2025: Mr. Ankush Raghunath Gore, a 40-year-old resident of Galantwadi, Mohol Taluk in Solapur district of Maharashtra, had been completely separated from his family for 10 long years. On November 11, he finally returned to the warmth of his home. This emotional and joy-filled reunion was made possible by the selfless service and dedication of the Snehalaya Charitable Trust, Manjeshwar team.

On June 10, 2025, Ankush was found wandering near Milagres Church, Mangalore, by auto-rickshaw driver Mr. Naveen, who immediately informed Snehalaya. Under the leadership of the Trust’s founder, Brother Joseph Crasta, the Snehalaya team rushed to the spot and rescued Ankush. At the time of rescue, he was in a confused state—speaking incoherently, laughing unnecessarily, showing disoriented behaviour, lacking personal hygiene, and wearing worn-out clothes. He was using tobacco and communicating mainly in Marathi, unable to clearly reveal anything about himself.

According to the family’s statement, Ankush had been suffering from longstanding mental health issues and had previously left home several times. His family—dependent on agriculture—included his wife, daughter, son, and elderly parents. His two married brothers live in other towns.

With continuous treatment, care, and rehabilitation at Snehalaya, Ankush slowly began recalling his personal details. Through the team’s relentless efforts, his home address was traced. After informing his family, Snehalaya Charitable Trust coordinated with Shraddha Foundation, Mumbai, who took Ankush into their custody to facilitate the final reunion.

On November 11, 2025, as if lifting a decade-long darkness, Ankush finally knocked on his own door. His family welcomed him with tears of joy, and the villagers too shared the emotional moment. His family expressed heartfelt gratitude to Snehalaya Charitable Trust and Shraddha Foundation, Mumbai, for making the reunion possible.

This case once again reaffirms the compassion, dedication, and humanitarian service that Snehalaya Trust stands for.

ಮಂಜೇಶ್ವರ, ನವೆಂಬರ್ 26, 2025 : ಮಹಾರಾಷ್ಟ್ರದ ಸೊಲಾಪುರ ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಯ ಮೊಹೋಲ್ ತಾಲ್ಲೂಕಿನ ಗಲಾಂಟ್ವಾಡಿ ನಿವಾಸಿ, 40 ವರ್ಷದ ಅಂಕುಶ್ ರಘುನಾಥ್ ಗೋರೇ, ತಮ್ಮ ಕುಟುಂಬದಿಂದ 10 ವರ್ಷಗಳ ಕಾಲ ಸಂಪೂರ್ಣವಾಗಿ ದೂರವಾಗಿದ್ದು, ನವೆಂಬರ್ 11 ರಂದು ಕೊನೆಗೂ ಕುಟುಂಬದ ಅಂಗಳಕ್ಕೆ ಮರಳಿದರು. ಈ ಭಾವನಾತ್ಮಕ ಮತ್ತು ಅಪಾರ ಸಂತೋಷದ ಕ್ಷಣಕ್ಕೆ ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯ ಚಾರಿಟೆಬಲ್ ಟ್ರಸ್ಟ್, ಮಂಜೇಶ್ವರ ತಂಡದ ನಿಸ್ವಾರ್ಥ ಸೇವೆ ಮತ್ತು ತ್ಯಾಗವೇ ಕಾರಣವಾಯಿತು.

ದಿನಾಂಕ ಜೂನ್ 10, 2025 ರಂದು ಅಂಕುಶ್ ಅವರನ್ನು ಮಿಲಾಗ್ರಿಸ್ ಚರ್ಚ್, ಮಂಗಳೂರು ಬಳಿ ಅಲೆದಾಡುತ್ತಿರುವುದನ್ನು ಕಂಡ ಆಟೋ ಚಾಲಕ ಶ್ರೀ ನವೀನ್ ಅವರು ತಕ್ಷಣ ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯಕ್ಕೆ ಮಾಹಿತಿ ನೀಡಿದರು. ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯ ಸಂಸ್ಥಾಪಕರು ಬ್ರದರ್ ಜೋಸೆಫ್ ಕ್ರಾಸ್ತಾರವರ ನೇತ್ರತ್ವದ ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯ ತಂಡವು ತಕ್ಷಣ ಸ್ಥಳಕ್ಕೆ ಧಾವಿಸಿ ಅಂಕುಶ್ ರವರನ್ನು ರಕ್ಷಿಸಿದರು, ರಕ್ಷಣೆಯ ಸಮಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಅವರು ಗೊಂದಲದ ಸ್ಥಿತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ, ಅಸಂಗತವಾಗಿ ಮಾತನಾಡುವುದು, ಅನಾವಶ್ಯಕ ನಗುವು, ದಿಕ್ಕುತಪ್ಪಿದ ವರ್ತನೆ, ವೈಯಕ್ತಿಕ ನೈರ್ಮಲ್ಯದ ಕೊರತೆ ಹಾಗೂ ಹಳೆಯ ಬಟ್ಟೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಕಂಡುಬಂದರು. ತಂಬಾಕು ಸೇವನೆ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದು, ಮರಾಠಿ ಭಾಷೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಮಾತನಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದ ಅವರು ತಮ್ಮ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಸ್ಪಷ್ಟವಾಗಿ ಹೇಳಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲು ಅಸಮರ್ಥರಾಗಿದ್ದರು.

ಕುಟುಂಬದ ಹೇಳಿಕೆ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ದೀರ್ಘಕಾಲದ ಮಾನಸಿಕ ಸಮಸ್ಯೆ ಇದ್ದು ಹಿಂದೆಯೂ ಮನೆಯನ್ನು ಬಿಟ್ಟು ಹೋಗುತ್ತಿದ್ದರು, ಕೃಷಿಯನ್ನೇ ಅವಲಂಬಿಸಿರುವ ಕುಟುಂಬದಲ್ಲಿ ಅವರ ಪತ್ನಿ, ಮಗಳು, ಪುತ್ರ ಹಾಗೂ ಪೋಷಕರು ಇದ್ದಾರೆ. ಇಬ್ಬರು ಮದುವೆಯಾದ ಸಹೋದರರು ಬೇರೆ ಊರುಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ವಾಸಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

ನವೆಂಬರ್ 11, 2025 ರಂದು, ದಶಕದ ಕತ್ತಲು ನಿವಾರಿಸುವಂತೆ, ಅಂಕುಶ್ ಕೊನೆಗೂ ತಮ್ಮ ಮನೆಯ ಬಾಗಿಲು ತಟ್ಟಿದರು. ಕುಟುಂಬವು ಕಣ್ಣೀರು ತುಂಬಿದ ಕಣ್ಣಿನಿಂದ ಅವರನ್ನು ಸ್ವಾಗತಿಸಿತು; ಹಳ್ಳಿಯವರ ಸಹ ಬೆಂಬಲವು ಈ ಮಿಲನವನ್ನು ಇನ್ನಷ್ಟು ಭಾವುಕರಾಗಿ ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯ ಚ್ಯಾರಿಟೆಬಲ್ ಟ್ರಸ್ಟ್ ಮತ್ತು ಶ್ರದ್ಧಾ ಫೌಂಡೇಶನ್ ಮುಂಬೈ ಗೆ ಕೃತಜ್ಞತೆಯನ್ನು ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಿದರು.
