Mangaluru, November 23, 2025: A woman identified as Swapna was rescued on November 20, 2025, by the Snehalaya Charitable Trust team from Mangalore Junction Railway Station after being found wandering in a distressed and disoriented state.
According to information received by Br. Joseph Crasta, the founder of Snehalaya, Swapna appeared mentally unstable and was unable to share any personal information. Noticing her vulnerable condition, the Snehalaya rescue team acted promptly, ensuring her safe rescue and transportation to the centre.
Swapna has been admitted to Snehalaya, Manjeshwar, where she is currently receiving medical care, psychological support, and rehabilitation services. The team is also working to trace her family members to facilitate a safe and timely reunion.
