Manjeshwar, November 18, 2025: A man identified as Mr. Jitendra , who was found wandering in a mentally disturbed and neglected condition near Montepadav Bus Stand, was safely rescued by the Snehalaya team on Monday. The rescue was initiated based on information provided by Mr. Ansar from Montepadav, who noticed the man’s distressed state and immediately alerted the team.
According to the information received, Mr. Jitendra was exhibiting signs of psychiatric issues, wandering behaviour, and poor personal hygiene, indicating an urgent need for care and protection. Responding promptly, the Snehalaya team reached the location and ensured his safe rescue.
Mr. Jitendra was admitted on 17/11/2025 to the Snehalaya Psycho-Social Rehabilitation Centre, Manjeshwar, where he is currently undergoing psychiatric evaluation, medical care, and rehabilitation.
The Snehalaya team is now working to gather details about his identity and trace his family members to facilitate reunion.

ಲಭ್ಯವಾದ ಮಾಹಿತಿಯ ಪ್ರಕಾರ, ಶ್ರೀ ಜಿತೇಂದ್ರ ಅವರು ಮಾನಸಿಕ ಅಸ್ವಸ್ಥತೆಯ ಲಕ್ಷಣಗಳನ್ನು, ಅಲೆಮಾರಿತನ ಮತ್ತು ವೈಯಕ್ತಿಕ ಸ್ವಚ್ಛತೆಯ ಕೊರತೆಯಿಂದ ಬಳಲುತ್ತಿದ್ದರು. ಈ ಹಿನ್ನೆಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ತಕ್ಷಣ ಕ್ರಮ ಕೈಗೊಂಡ ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯ ತಂಡ ಸ್ಥಳಕ್ಕೆ ಭೇಟಿ ನೀಡಿ ಅವರನ್ನು ಸುರಕ್ಷಿತವಾಗಿ ರಕ್ಷಿಸಿತು.
ಶ್ರೀ ಜಿತೇಂದ್ರ ಅವರನ್ನು 17/11/2025 ರಂದು ಮಂಜೇಶ್ವರದಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯ ಮನೋ-ಸಾಮಾಜಿಕ ಪುನಶ್ಚೇತನ ಕೇಂದ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ದಾಖಲಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ. ಅವರು ಪ್ರಸ್ತುತ ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಉತ್ತಮ ಮಾನಸಿಕ ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆ, ವೈದ್ಯಕೀಯ ಆರೈಕೆ ಮತ್ತು ಪುನಶ್ಚೇತನವನ್ನು ಪಡೆಯುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
