Manjeshwar, November 16, 2025: A man identified as Rishikesh was rescued by the Snehalaya team from Mangalore Central Railway Station after he was found wandering in a disoriented and distressed condition.
According to the information received, Rishikesh exhibited psychiatric issues, wandering behaviour, poor insight into his condition, and poor personal hygiene, indicating that he was in urgent need of care and protection. Acting promptly, the Snehalaya team brought him safely to the rehabilitation centre.
Rishikesh was admitted on 14/11/2025 and is currently receiving medical care, psychiatric assessment, and rehabilitation services at the Snehalaya Psycho-Social Rehabilitation Centre, Manjeshwar. The team is now working to trace his background and help reunite him with his family.
