Manjeshwar, October 31, 2025: A man identified as Mr.Rahul Dev was rescued by Br.Joseph Crasta and team from near Deralakatte Street following a report by a public person named Ansar Montepadav. The rescue took place on October 27, 2025, and the patient was subsequently admitted to the Snehalaya Psycho-Social Rehabilitation Centre, Manjeshwar.
According to the Snehalaya team, Rahul Dev was found wandering aimlessly in a disoriented state. He exhibited psychiatric symptoms, poor insight into his condition, lack of personal hygiene, and repetitive speech. Observing his vulnerable condition, the team intervened promptly and ensured his safe transfer for care and rehabilitation.
At present, Rahul Dev is under medical observation and receiving appropriate psychiatric treatment and personal care at Snehalaya. The organization continues to appeal to the public for any information that could help trace his family or background.
