Manjeshwar, October 18, 2025:A 36-year-old woman identified as Mrs.Pinki was rescued by Br. Joseph Crasta and his team at Mangalore Junction Railway Station on October 15, 2025. The rescue operation took place after she was found in a disoriented state, showing clear signs of psychiatric illness.
According to the Snehalaya staff, Pinki appeared mentally unstable and was wandering alone on the station premises. Concerned passengers alerted authorities, and the trained outreach team from Snehalaya responded promptly to bring her to safety. She seemed frightened and was unable to communicate properly, indicating severe emotional distress.
The Snehalaya team ensured that Pinki received immediate care and support. Following the rescue, she was admitted to the Snehalaya Psychological Social Rehabilitation Centre in Manjeshwar, where she is now undergoing psychiatric treatment.
The center is currently working on tracing her background and initiating efforts toward a possible family reunion.

ಮಂಜೇಶ್ವರ, ಅಕ್ಟೋಬರ್ 18, 2025: 36 ವರ್ಷದ ಮಹಿಳೆ ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಪಿಂಕಿ ಅವರನ್ನು ಅಕ್ಟೋಬರ್ 15, 2025 ಮಂಗಳೂರಿನ ಜಂಕ್ಷನ್ ರೈಲು ನಿಲ್ದಾಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಬ್ರದರ್ ಜೋಸೆಫ್ ಕ್ರಾಸ್ತರವರ ನೇತೃತ್ವದಲ್ಲಿ ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯ ತಂಡವು ರಕ್ಷಿಸಿತು. ರೈಲು ನಿಲ್ದಾಣದ ಆವರಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಅವರು ಗೊಂದಲದಲ್ಲಿದ್ದು, ಮಾನಸಿಕ ಅಸ್ಥಿರತೆಯ ಲಕ್ಷಣಗಳನ್ನು ತೋರಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದರು.
ಪತ್ತೆಯಾದ ಸಮಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಪಿಂಕಿ ಅವರು ಭಯಗೊಂಡಂತೆ ಕಾಣುತ್ತಿದ್ದರು ಮತ್ತು ಸರಿಯಾಗಿ ಮಾತನಾಡಲು ಸಾಧ್ಯವಾಗುತ್ತಿರಲಿಲ್ಲ. ಪ್ರಯಾಣಿಕರು ಈ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಮಾಹಿತಿ ನೀಡಿದರು. ನಂತರ ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯದ ನುರಿತ ರಕ್ಷಣಾ ತಂಡ ತಕ್ಷಣ ನಿಗದಿತ ಸ್ಥಳಕ್ಕೆ ಧಾವಿಸಿ ಆಕೆಯನ್ನು ರಕ್ಷಿಸಿ ಅವರಿಗೆ ತಕ್ಷಣದ ಆರೈಕೆ ಹಾಗೂ ಸಹಾಯ ನೀಡಲಾಯಿತು.
