Manjeshwar, October 3, 2025: After four months of uncertainty and distress, the heartfelt reunion of Mr. Senathipathi T, a 33-year-old man from Kulithalai, Karur district, Tamil Nadu, with his family brought immense relief, joy, and emotional closure to his loved ones.

Mr. Senathipathi, son of Mrs. Vennila Saminathan, had been struggling with severe alcohol addiction, which led to episodes of irritability, disorientation, and self-talk. His condition worsened to the point where he was found wandering the streets of Kasaragod in a vulnerable and unstable state.

On June 10, 2025, the Kasaragod police, recognizing his deteriorating condition, brought him to the Snehalaya Psycho-Social Rehabilitation Center for Men. There, under the care of medical professionals and counselors, he began receiving the treatment and psychological support he urgently needed.

As his condition improved, Mr. Senathipathi was eventually able to share his identity and home address. A psychiatric social worker at Snehalaya then took proactive steps to trace and contact his family. Thanks to this dedicated effort, and with the emotional strength of his loved ones, a long-awaited reunion was made possible.

On the night of October 2, 2025, at 9:30 pm, Mr. Senathipathi was warmly welcomed back by his mother, Mrs. Vennila Saminathan, and his cousin brother, Mr. R. Saravanam. The moment was filled with tears, hugs, and gratitude, as the family finally embraced their lost member.
