Manjeshwar, September 24, 2025: A 32-year-old man named Mr. Velu was found in a distressed condition at Manjeshwar Railway Station. Local resident Mr. Abdul Rehman immediately informed Br. Joseph Crasta, the founder of Snehalaya. Acting on the information, the Snehalaya Psycho-Social Rehabilitation Team rushed to the spot.

Upon arrival, the team found Mr. Velu disoriented, poorly groomed, and communicating only in Tamil. Preliminary assessment indicated symptoms of mental illness.

He has since been admitted to the Snehalaya Psycho-Social Rehabilitation Home for Men, where he is receiving essential medical treatment, counseling, and compassionate care.

Authorities are currently seeking details regarding his identity, family background, or connections. There is a possibility of a link to a woman named Shalini.

ಮಂಜೇಶ್ವರ, ಸೆಪ್ಟೆಂಬರ್ 24, 2025: ಮಂಜೇಶ್ವರ ರೈಲು ನಿಲ್ದಾಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಅಸ್ವಸ್ಥ ಸ್ಥಿತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕಂಡುಬಂದ 32 ವರ್ಷದ ಶ್ರೀ.ವೇಲು ಎಂಬ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿಯನ್ನು ಕಂಡ ಮಂಜೇಶ್ವರದ ನಿವಾಸಿಯಾದಂತಹ ಶ್ರೀ ಅಬ್ದುಲ್ ರೆಹಮಾನ್ ರವರು ತಕ್ಷಣ ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯದ ಸಂಸ್ಥಾಪಕರಾದ ಬ್ರ.ಜೋಸೆಫ್ ಕ್ರಾಸ್ತಾ ರವರಿಗೆ ಮಾಹಿತಿಯನ್ನು ನೀಡಿದರು ಈ ಮಾಹಿತಿಯ ಮೇರೆಗೆ ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯ ಮಾನಸಿಕ -ಸಾಮಾಜಿಕ ಪುನರ್ವಸತಿ ತಂಡವು ಮಂಜೇಶ್ವರ ರೈಲು ನಿಲ್ದಾಣಕ್ಕೆ ಧಾವಿಸಿದ ವೇಳೆ ವೇಲು ರವರು ಗೊಂದಲದಿಂದ ಕೂಡಿದ್ದು, ಅಸಮರ್ಪಕ ಸ್ಥಿತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಇದ್ದು, ತಮಿಳು ಭಾಷೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಮಾತ್ರ ಸಂವಹನ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದರು. ತಂಡದ ಪ್ರಾಥಮಿಕ ಮೌಲ್ಯಮಾಪನದಲ್ಲಿ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಮಾನಸಿಕ ಅಸ್ವಸ್ಥತೆಯ ಲಕ್ಷಣಗಳು ಕಂಡುಬಂದಿವೆ.
