Manjeshwar, September 23, 2025: After two months of uncertainty, anxiety, and waiting, the reunion of Mr.Manmohan from Patiala,Punjab with his brother turned into a deeply emotional and heartwarming moment for their family. The reunion brought renewed peace, immense joy, and hope into their lives.

Manmohan, son of the late Paghbir Singh and a native of Urban Estate, Patiala, had been struggling with mental illness since his school days in the 4th standard. Due to his condition, he would often leave home. With both parents now deceased, Manmohan had been living with his brother, who was constantly worried about his health and safety.

On July 13, 2025, social worker Kiran Kumar from Karkala found Manmohan wandering in a distressed state and immediately informed Br. Joseph Crasta, founder of Snehalaya Charitable Trust. The Snehalaya Psycho-Social Rehabilitation Team promptly rescued him and admitted him to their rehabilitation center in Manjeshwar, where he received medical treatment, counseling, and essential care.

Thanks to the joint efforts of Snehalaya Manjeshwar and Shraddha Foundation Mumbai, this reunion was made possible. With continuous support and mental health care, Manmohan was safely reunited with his brother on August 28, 2025. The family expressed heartfelt gratitude to Snehalaya, Shraddha Foundation, and everyone involved in making this reunion possible.

This reunion once again highlights how humanity, timely intervention, and community support can transform the lives of vulnerable individuals.

ಎರಡು ತಿಂಗಳ ಬಳಿಕ ಪಂಜಾಬ್ ಮೂಲದ ಮನಮೋಹನ್ ಸಹೋದರನೊಡನೆ ಪುನರ್ಮಿಲನ

ಮಂಜೇಶ್ವರ, ಸೆಪ್ಟೆಂಬರ್ 23, 2025: ದೀರ್ಘ ಎರಡು ತಿಂಗಳ ಅಶಾಂತಿ, ಕಳವಳ ಹಾಗೂ ಕಾಯುವಿಕೆಯ ನಂತರ ಪಂಜಾಬ್ ನ ಪಟಿಯಾಲಾದ ಮನಮೋಹನ್ ತಮ್ಮ ಸಹೋದರನನ್ನು ಮತ್ತೆ ಕಂಡ ಕ್ಷಣವು ಆ ಕುಟುಂಬಕ್ಕೆ ಹೃದಯ ಮುಟ್ಟುವ ಸಂತೋಷದ ಕ್ಷಣವಾಗಿತ್ತು. ಈ ಪುನರ್ಮಿಲನವು ಕುಟುಂಬದ ಹೃದಯಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಹೊಸ ನೆಮ್ಮದಿ, ಅಪಾರ ಸಂತೋಷ ಹಾಗೂ ಭರವಸೆಯನ್ನು ಹರಡಿದೆ.

ಮನಮೋಹನ್, ದಿವಂಗತ ಪಘ್ಬೀರ್ ಸಿಂಗ್ ಅವರ ಪುತ್ರ, ಪಟಿಯಾಲಾ ನಗರದ ಅರ್ಬನ್ ಎಸ್ಟೇಟ್ ಮೂಲದವರು. ಅವರು ಬಾಲ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿಯೇ, ನಾಲ್ಕನೇ ತರಗತಿಯಿಂದಲೇ ಮಾನಸಿಕ ಅಸ್ವಸ್ಥತೆಯಿಂದ ಬಳಲುತ್ತಿದ್ದರು. ಈ ಕಾರಣದಿಂದಾಗಿ ಅವರು ಹಲವು ಬಾರಿ ಮನೆಯಿಂದ ಹೊರಟು ಹೋಗುತ್ತಿದ್ದರು. ಈಗ ಪೋಷಕರು ಇಹಲೋಕ ತ್ಯಜಿಸಿದ್ದರಿಂದ, ತಮ್ಮ ಸಹೋದರನೊಡನೆ ವಾಸವಾಗಿದ್ದು, ಸಹೋದರನು ಸದಾ ಅವರ ಆರೋಗ್ಯದ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಚಿಂತೆಯಲ್ಲಿದ್ದನು.

2025ರ ಜುಲೈ 13ರಂದು, ಕಾರ್ಕಳದ ಕಿರಣ್ ಕುಮಾರ್ ಎಂಬ ಸಮಾಜಸೇವಕ ಮನಮೋಹನ್ ಅವರನ್ನು ಅಸ್ವಸ್ಥ ಸ್ಥಿತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಅಲೆಮಾರಿ ಸ್ಥಿತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕಂಡು, ತಕ್ಷಣವೇ ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯ ಚಾರಿಟೇಬಲ್ ಟ್ರಸ್ಟ್‌ನ ಸ್ಥಾಪಕರಾದ ಬ್ರ. ಜೋಸೆಫ್ ಕ್ರಾಸ್ತಾ ಅವರನ್ನು ಮಾಹಿತಿ ನೀಡಿದರು. ತಕ್ಷಣ ಸ್ಪಂದಿಸಿದ ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯ ಸೈಕೋ-ಸೋಶಿಯಲ್ ಪುನರ್ವಸತಿ ತಂಡ ಮನಮೋಹನ್ ಅವರನ್ನು ರಕ್ಷಿಸಿ, ಮಂಜೇಶ್ವರದಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯ ಪುನರ್ವಸತಿ ಕೇಂದ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ದಾಖಲಿಸಿ ವೈದ್ಯಕೀಯ ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆ, ಸಮಾಲೋಚನೆ ಮತ್ತು ಅಗತ್ಯ ಆರೈಕೆ ಒದಗಿಸಿತು.

ಮಂಜೇಶ್ವರದ ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯ ಹಾಗೂ ಮುಂಬೈನ ಶ್ರದ್ಧಾ ಫೌಂಡೇಷನ್ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಗಳ ಸಹಯೋಗದಿಂದ ಈ ಪುನರ್ಮಿಲನ ಸಾಧ್ಯವಾಯಿತು. ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯದ ನಿರಂತರ ಸಹಾಯ ಹಾಗೂ ಮಾನಸಿಕ ಆರೋಗ್ಯದ ಮೇಲಿನ ತಪಾಸಣೆಯೊಂದಿಗೆ, 2025ರ ಆಗಸ್ಟ್ 28ರಂದು ಮನಮೋಹನ್ ತಮ್ಮ ಸಹೋದರನೊಡನೆ ಸುರಕ್ಷಿತವಾಗಿ ಪುನರ್ಮಿಲನಗೊಂಡರು. ಕುಟುಂಬವು ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯ, ಮುಂಬೈನ ಶ್ರದ್ಧಾ ಫೌಂಡೇಶನ್ ಹಾಗೂ ಈ ಮಿಲನದಲ್ಲಿ ಪಾತ್ರವಹಿಸಿದ ಎಲ್ಲರಿಗೂ ಹೃತ್ಪೂರ್ವಕ ಧನ್ಯವಾದಗಳನ್ನು ತಿಳಿಸಿತು.
