Manjeshwar, September 5, 2025 : The Snehalaya Charitable Trust successfully rescued a 34-year-old woman, identified as Hemalatha, from the streets of Thokkotu, Mangaluru, on Thursday. She has been admitted to the Snehalaya Psycho-Social Rehabilitation Home for Women, where she is now under care and observation.
During the rescue, Hemalatha was found in a highly vulnerable condition, displaying poor personal hygiene and communicating primarily in Tamil. Initial assessments conducted by the Snehalaya team suggest she may be suffering from psychiatric symptoms, necessitating immediate medical attention and psychological support.
As Hemalatha has been unable to provide any details about her identity, family, or place of origin, Snehalaya is appealing to the general public for any information that might assist in reuniting her with her loved ones.

ಮಂಜೇಶ್ವರ, ಸೆಪ್ಟೆಂಬರ್ 5, 2025: ಮಂಗಳೂರು ತೊಕ್ಕೊಟು ಪ್ರದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ 34 ವರ್ಷದ ಹೇಮಲತ ಎನ್ನುವ ಮಹಿಳೆಯನ್ನು ಗುರುವಾರ ‘ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯ ಚಾರಿಟಬಲ್ ಟ್ರಸ್ಟ್’ ರಕ್ಷಣಾ ತಂಡದವರು ರಕ್ಷಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಪತ್ತೆಯಾದ ಸಮಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಅವಳು ದುರ್ಬಲ ಸ್ಥಿತಿಯಲ್ಲಿದ್ದು , ಸ್ವಚ್ಛತೆಯ ಕೊರತೆ ಹಾಗೂ ಮಾನಸಿಕ ಆರೋಗ್ಯ ಸಮಸ್ಯೆಗಳ ಲಕ್ಷಣಗಳನ್ನು ತೋರಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದರು
ತಮಿಳು ಭಾಷೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಮಾತನಾಡುವ ಹೇಮಲತಳನ್ನು ಇದೀಗ ‘ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯ ಮಹಿಳಾ ಪುನರ್ವಸತಿ ಕೇಂದ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ’ ಇರಿಸಲಾಗಿದ್ದು, ಅಗತ್ಯ ವೈದ್ಯಕೀಯ ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆ ಹಾಗೂ ಮಾನಸಿಕ ನೆರವನ್ನು ಒದಗಿಸಲಾಗುತ್ತಿದೆ.
