Snehalaya wore a vibrant look as residents and staff came together to joyously celebrate the festival of Onam 2025, a day imbued with happiness, laughter, and heartfelt togetherness. The celebrations carried an air of warmth and inclusivity, reminding everyone of the true spirit of this cherished festival.
Presiding over the ceremony was Br. Joseph Crasta, Founder and Managing Trustee of Snehalaya Charitable Trust, whose inspiring presence and heartfelt words set the tone for the day. The occasion was further graced by the esteemed presence of Rev Fr. Cyril D’Souza, Chaplain of Snehalaya; Ms. Olivia Crasta, Trustee of Snehalaya; and Mr. Clint Joseph, Head of the Clinical Department.
The day unfolded with an array of lively indoor and outdoor games, where both residents and staff participated with great enthusiasm. Laughter and cheer echoed throughout the campus as the activities fostered bonds of camaraderie, unity, and joy.
The highlight of the celebrations was the traditional Onam Sadhya, a grand festive meal that brought everyone together at the same table sharing not just food, but also love and memories.
INDEED, THE ONAM 2025 CELEBRATION AT SNEHALAYA WAS MORE THAN A FESTIVAL—IT WAS A DAY OF SHARED SMILES, HEARTFELT CONNECTIONS, AND CHERISHED MOMENTS.

ಮಂಗಳೂರು ಸಮೀಪದಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯದ ಮನೋ ಸಾಮಾಜಿಕ ಕೇಂದ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ನಿವಾಸಿಗಳು ಹಾಗೂ ಸಿಬ್ಬಂದಿ ಒಗ್ಗಟ್ಟಿನಿಂದ ಸೇರಿ ಒಣಂ 2025 ಹಬ್ಬವನ್ನು ಭಾವಪೂರ್ಣವಾಗಿ ಹಾಗೂ ಆನಂದಭರಿತ ವಾತಾವರಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಆಚರಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. ನಗು, ಸಂತೋಷ ಮತ್ತು ಒಗ್ಗಟ್ಟಿನಿಂದ ಕಂಗೊಳಿಸಿದ ಈ ಹಬ್ಬದ ಸಂಭ್ರಮವು ಎಲ್ಲರ ಮನಸ್ಸಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಮರೆಯಲಾಗದ ನೆನಪು ಬೀರಿತು.
ಈ ಅರ್ಥಪೂರ್ಣ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮಕ್ಕೆ ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯ ಚಾರಿಟಬಲ್ ಟ್ರಸ್ಟ್ನ ಸಂಸ್ಥಾಪಕ ಹಾಗೂ ಕಾರ್ಯನಿರ್ವಾಹಕ ಟ್ರಸ್ಟಿಯಾಗಿರುವ ಬ್ರ. ಜೋಸೆಫ್ ಕ್ರಾಸ್ಟಾ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷತೆ ವಹಿಸಿದರು. ಅವರ ಪ್ರೇರಣಾದಾಯಕ ಸಾನ್ನಿಧ್ಯ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮಕ್ಕೆ ವಿಶೇಷ ಮೆರುಗು ನೀಡಿತು. ಜೊತೆಗೆ, ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯದ ಚಾಪ್ಲೇನ್ ವಂದನೀಯ ಫಾ. ಸಿರಿಲ್ ಡಿ’ಸೋಜಾ, ಟ್ರಸ್ಟಿ ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಒಲಿವಿಯಾ ಕ್ರಾಸ್ಟಾ ಹಾಗೂ ಕ್ಲೀನಿಕಲ್ ವಿಭಾಗದ ಮುಖ್ಯಸ್ಥ ಶ್ರೀ ಕ್ಲಿಂಟ್ ಜೋಸೆಫ್ ಗೌರವಾನ್ವಿತ ಅತಿಥಿಗಳಾಗಿ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದಲ್ಲಿ ಪಾಲ್ಗೊಂಡು ತಮ್ಮ ಸಂತೋಷ ಹಂಚಿಕೊಂಡರು.
ಹಬ್ಬದ ಅಂಗವಾಗಿ ಜರುಗಿದ ವಿವಿಧ ಒಳಾಂಗಣ ಮತ್ತು ಹೊರಾಂಗಣ ಆಟಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ನಿವಾಸಿಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಸಿಬ್ಬಂದಿ ಸಮಾನ ಉತ್ಸಾಹದಿಂದ ಪಾಲ್ಗೊಂಡರು. ಈ ಕ್ಷಣಗಳು ಸ್ನೇಹಭಾವ ಹಾಗೂ ಸಮಗ್ರತೆ ಎಂಬ ಮೌಲ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ಇನ್ನಷ್ಟು ಬಲಪಡಿಸಿದವು. ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದ ಅಂತ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಎಲ್ಲರೂ ಒಟ್ಟಾಗಿ ಸವಿದ ಸಾಂಪ್ರದಾಯಿಕ ಒಣಂ ಸದ್ಯ, ಹಬ್ಬದ ವಾತಾವರಣವನ್ನು ಮತ್ತಷ್ಟು ಜೀವಂತಗೊಳಿಸಿತು. ಇದು ಕೇವಲ ಭೋಜನವಷ್ಟೇ ಅಲ್ಲದೆ, ಪರಸ್ಪರ ಪ್ರೀತಿ, ಹಂಚಿಕೆ ಮತ್ತು ಕುಟುಂಬಸಹಜ ಒಗ್ಗಟ್ಟಿನ ಸಾರ್ಥಕತೆಯನ್ನು ಪ್ರತಿಬಿಂಬಿಸಿತು.
ಈ ವರ್ಷದ ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯದ ಒಣಂ ಸಂಭ್ರಮ ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಬ್ಬರಿಗೂ ಹಬ್ಬದ ನಿಜವಾದ ಅರ್ಥವಾದ ಸೌಹಾರ್ದ, ಸಂತೋಷ ಮತ್ತು ಒಗ್ಗಟ್ಟುವನ್ನು ಮೂಡಿ ಬರುವಂತೆ ಮಾಡಿತು.
