Manjeshwar, August 21, 2025: On June 27, 2025, Mr. Annu was found wandering in a state of mental distress near Mukkha, Mangalore. He was recognized by Mr. Kiran, a resident of Karkala, who immediately rushed to his aid. Soon after, Annu was admitted to Snehalaya Psycho-Social Rehabilitation Center in Manjeshwar, where he received essential care, medical treatment, and holistic support.

After three long years of uncertainty and hope, on August 18, 2025, Mr. Annu was finally reunited with his family in Dikrong Gaon, Sadiya, Tinsukia District, Assam. The emotional reunion brought tears of relief and joy to his family, who had always feared for his safety but never gave up hope. Villagers and neighbors warmly welcomed him back, celebrating the occasion with heartfelt happiness.

Mr. Annu had once sustained his livelihood through agriculture. However, due to poverty and lack of awareness, he could not access proper treatment when he began suffering from mental illness. Over time, his struggles deepened, worsened by constant marital conflicts, which eventually led to divorce further deteriorating his mental health.

A turning point came when Snehalaya Charitable Trust in Manjeshwar, in collaboration with Shraddha Foundation, Mumbai, intervened. Their timely action and dedicated care made his safe return to his family possible. The family and villagers expressed profound gratitude to everyone who contributed to this reunion.

This moving incident stands as a living testament to how compassion and community support can bring about life-changing transformations.

ಮಂಜೇಶ್ವರ, ಆಗಸ್ಟ್ 21, 2025: ಕಳೆದ ಜೂನ್ 27, 2025 ರಂದು ಮಂಗಳೂರಿನ ಮುಕ್ಕಾದಲ್ಲಿ ಮಾನಸಿಕ ಅಸ್ವಸ್ಥತೆಯ ಸ್ಥಿತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಅಲೆದಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದ ಶ್ರೀ ಅಣ್ಣುರವರನ್ನು ಕಾರ್ಕಳದ ನಿವಾಸಿ ಶ್ರೀ ಕಿರಣ್ ರವರು ಗುರುತಿಸಿ, ತಕ್ಷಣ ನೆರವಿಗೆ ಧಾವಿಸಿದರು. ಬಳಿಕ ಮಂಜೇಶ್ವರದ ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯ ಮನೋ-ಸಾಮಾಜಿಕ ಪುನರ್ವಸತಿ ಕೇಂದ್ರಕ್ಕೆ ದಾಖಲಿಸಲ್ಪಟ್ಟ ಅವರು ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಅಗತ್ಯ ಆರೈಕೆ, ವೈದ್ಯಕೀಯ ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆ ಮತ್ತು ಸಂಪೂರ್ಣ ಬೆಂಬಲವನ್ನು ಪಡೆದರು.

ಮೂರು ವರ್ಷಗಳ ಅನಿಶ್ಚಿತತೆ ಮತ್ತು ನಿರೀಕ್ಷೆಯ ಬಳಿಕ, ಆಗಸ್ಟ್ 18, 2025 ರಂದು, ಅಸ್ಸಾಂ ರಾಜ್ಯದ ತಿನ್ಸುಕಿಯಾ ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಯ ಸಾದಿಯಾ ತಾಲೂಕಿನ ದಿಕ್ರಾಂಗ್ ಗ್ರಾಮದಲ್ಲಿ ತಮ್ಮ ಕುಟುಂಬದೊಂದಿಗೆ ಶ್ರೀ ಅಣ್ಣು ಮರುಸೇರ್ಪಡೆಯಾದರು. ಈ ಭಾವನಾತ್ಮಕ ಮಿಲನವು ಕುಟುಂಬದವರ ಕಣ್ಣೀರು ಮತ್ತು ಆನಂದಕ್ಕೆ ಸಾಕ್ಷಿಯಾಯಿತು.

ಕುಟುಂಬದವರು ಸದಾ ಅಣ್ಣುರವರ ಸುರಕ್ಷತೆಗಾಗಿ ಆತಂಕಗೊಂಡಿದ್ದರೂ, ಆಶೆಯನ್ನು ಕಳೆದುಕೊಂಡಿರಲಿಲ್ಲ. ಗ್ರಾಮದ ಜನರು ಹಾಗೂ ನೆರೆಹೊರೆಯವರು ಹೃತ್ಪೂರ್ವಕವಾಗಿ ಅವರನ್ನು ಸ್ವಾಗತಿಸಿ, ಮಿಲನವನ್ನು ಸಂತೋಷದಿಂದ ಆಚರಿಸಿದರು.

ಶ್ರೀ ಅಣ್ಣು ಅವರು ಕೃಷಿಯ ಮೂಲಕ ತಮ್ಮ ಜೀವನ ಸಾಗಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದರು. ಆದರೆ, ಮಾನಸಿಕ ಅಸ್ವಸ್ಥತೆಯಿಂದ ಬಳಲುತಿದ್ದ ಇವರು, ಬಡತನ ಮತ್ತು ತಿಳುವಳಿಕೆಯ ಕೊರತೆಯಿಂದ ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆ ಪಡೆಯಲು ಸಾಧ್ಯವಾಗಲಿಲ್ಲ. ಕಾಲಕ್ರಮೇಣ ವೈಯಕ್ತಿಕ ಸಂಕಷ್ಟಗಳು ಹೆಚ್ಚುತ್ತಾ, ದಾಂಪತ್ಯ ಜೀವನದಲ್ಲಿ ನಿರಂತರ ಕಲಹಗಳು ಉಂಟಾದವು. ಕೊನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಪತ್ನಿ ವಿಚ್ಛೇದನ ನೀಡಿದ್ದು, ಅವರ ಮಾನಸಿಕ ಸ್ಥಿತಿಯನ್ನು ಇನ್ನಷ್ಟು ಹದಗೆಟ್ಟಿತ್ತು.

ಶ್ರೀ ಅಣ್ಣುವಿನ ಬದುಕಿಗೆ ತಿರುವು ತಂದದ್ದು ಮಂಜೇಶ್ವರದ ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯ ಚಾರಿಟೇಬಲ್ ಟ್ರಸ್ಟ್ ಹಾಗೂ ಮುಂಬೈನ ಶ್ರದ್ಧಾ ಫೌಂಡೇಶನ್, ಸಮಯೋಚಿತ ಕಾರ್ಯಾಚರಣೆ ಹಾಗೂ ಆರೈಕೆಯಿಂದಾಗಿ, ಶ್ರೀ ಅಣ್ಣು ಮತ್ತೆ ಕುಟುಂಬಕ್ಕೆ ತಲುಪಿದರು. ಕುಟುಂಬ ಹಾಗೂ ಗ್ರಾಮಸ್ಥರು ಈ ಮಿಲನವನ್ನು ಸಾಧ್ಯವಾಗಿಸಿದ ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಬ್ಬರಿಗೂ ಹೃತ್ಪೂರ್ವಕ ಕೃತಜ್ಞತೆಯನ್ನು ವ್ಯಕ್ತಪಡಿಸಿದರು.

ಕರುಣೆ ಮತ್ತು ಸಮುದಾಯದ ಬೆಂಬಲವು ಬದುಕಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಹೇಗೆ ಅರ್ಥಪೂರ್ಣ ಬದಲಾವಣೆ ತರುತ್ತದೆ ಎಂಬುದಕ್ಕೆ ಈ ಘಟನೆ ಜೀವಂತ ಸಾಕ್ಷಿಯಾಯಿತು.
