Manjeshwar, August 20, 2025: In a deeply moving story of hope and resilience, Mr. Mantu Mandal  who had been missing for the past two years, has finally been reunited with his family.

Mr. Mandal, formerly employed at a private company in Delhi, had developed mental health issues caused by excessive alcohol consumption. His sudden disappearance plunged his family into uncertainty and despair. Tragically, during his absence, both his parents passed away. Before his illness, he had been living with his wife and their three children at his in-laws’ home, but his absence pushed the family into severe financial hardship.

Answering the family’s long awaited prayers, on August 8, 2025, with the joint efforts of Snehalaya Charitable Trust, Manjeshwar, and Shraddha Foundation, Mumbai, Mr. Mandal was safely escorted back to his wife’s residence in Bishanpur village, Supaul district, Bihar. The emotional reunion with his family was a moment filled with profound sentiment.

Earlier, on June 20, 2025, Mr. Mandal was first spotted at Mulki Junction, Mangalore, by Mr. Kiran Karkala, who immediately informed Bro. Joseph Crasta, the founder of Snehalaya. The Snehalaya rescue team rushed to the spot and took Mr. Kumar into their care, providing him with treatment and rehabilitation.

This reunion not only demonstrates the power of compassion but also highlights the tireless humanitarian work of organizations like Snehalaya Charitable Trust. For the Mandal family, it was more than just the return of a loved one it was the rekindling of hope and a new light for the future.

ಮಂಜೇಶ್ವರ, ಆಗಸ್ಟ್ 20, 2025: ಎರಡು ವರ್ಷಗಳಿಂದ ಕಾಣೆಯಾಗಿದ್ದ ಶ್ರೀ ಮಂಟು ಮಂಡಲ್ ಕೊನೆಗೂ ತಮ್ಮ ಕುಟುಂಬಕ್ಕೆ ಮರಳಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ದೆಹಲಿಯಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಖಾಸಗಿ ಕಂಪನಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಉದ್ಯೋಗದಲ್ಲಿದ್ದ ಶ್ರೀ ಮಂಡಲ್ ಅವರು ಅತಿಯಾದ ಮದ್ಯಪಾನದ ಸೇವನೆಯಿಂದ ಉಂಟಾದ ಮಾನಸಿಕ ಅಸ್ವಸ್ಥತೆಯಿಂದ ಬಳಲುತ್ತಿದ್ದರು. ಇದರ ಪರಿಣಾಮವಾಗಿ ಅವರ ಕುಟುಂಬವು ಅನಿಶ್ಚಿತತೆ ಮತ್ತು ವ್ಯಥೆಗೆ ಒಳಗಾಯಿತು. ಈ ಅವಧಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಅವರ ತಾಯಿ-ತಂದೆ ಇಬ್ಬರೂ ನಿಧನರಾದರು. ಅಸ್ವಸ್ಥತೆಗೆ ಒಳಗಾಗುವ ಮೊದಲು, ಶ್ರೀ ಮಂಟು ಮಂಡಲ್ ತಮ್ಮ ಮೂವರು ಮಕ್ಕಳೊಂದಿಗೆ ಪತ್ನಿಯ ಮನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ವಾಸಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದರು. ಆದರೆ ಅವರು ಕಾಣೆಯಾದ ಸಮಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಕುಟುಂಬವು ತೀವ್ರ ಆರ್ಥಿಕ ಸಂಕಷ್ಟವನ್ನು ಎದುರಿಸಬೇಕಾಯಿತು.
