Manjeshwar, August 12, 2025: In yet another testament to the power of humanity to change lives, an inspiring incident has emerged from Manjeshwar. The Kasaragod Railway Police have rescued a man identified as Pullak, 55, a native of Assam, from a difficult and distressing situation.

Pullak, who had been suffering from severe physical and mental health issues, had been separated from his home, village, and family for many years under unknown circumstances.

Sub-Inspector of Railway Police, Mr. Sanil Kumar C.S., extended compassionate care and brought Pullak to a safe location. Although unable to speak clearly due to his health condition, he managed to communicate in Assamese that his father’s name is Jugen and his mother’s name is Varuna Ajega.

Recognizing the seriousness of his condition, the police promptly admitted him to the Snehalaya Psycho-Social Rehabilitation Centre in Manjeshwar. He is currently receiving essential medical treatment, dedicated care, and mental health rehabilitation.
