Manjeshwar, July 29, 2025: A man named Mr. Santhosh, found in a mentally disturbed state near Mukka Highway in Mangalore, was compassionately assisted by Businessman Mr. Kiran Karkala and his wife.

Recognizing Mr. Santhosh’s distressed condition, Mr. Kiran promptly informed Br. Joseph Crasta, the founder of Snehalaya. The couple then personally transported Mr. Santhosh to the Snehalaya Psychosocial Rehabilitation Centre in Manjeshwar, where he was safely admitted on July 29.

According to Mr. Kiran, Mr. Santhosh appeared disoriented at the time of the rescue and showed clear signs of mental distress. The medical team at Snehalaya is now closely monitoring his condition and taking appropriate steps to provide the necessary treatment.

Meanwhile, efforts are underway by the Snehalaya team to trace Mr. Santhosh’s family, with the hope of a possible reunion in the coming days.
