Manjeshwar, 08/07/2025: A 52-year-old man named Kayyum was rescued by the Snehalaya team from Padubidre Street in Mangalore. He is originally from Saharanpur, Uttar Pradesh, and is a Hindi speaker. businessman Kiran Kumar from Karkala, helped bring him to safety.

When Kayyum was found, he was in poor hygiene, dressed in shabby clothes, speaking incoherently, muttering to himself, smiling inappropriately, and socially withdrawn. The initial assessment indicates that he is experiencing mental health issues.

Mr.Kiran Kumar informed the authorities about Kayyum’s condition, and efforts are now underway to reunite him with his family.
