Kasaragod, April 10, 2025  In a moment filled with deep emotion and long-awaited joy, Ramnath whose real name is Ramakant Jena was reunited with his family after being missing for eight years. The reunion, which took place on April 17, 2025, brought tears of happiness to his Wife, Children, mother, brother, and the entire villagers, as they welcomed him back with open arms.

Ramakant had gone missing eight years ago during a visit to Kharagpur with his brother. Tragically, no missing person report was filed at the time, and his whereabouts remained unknown for years. Two years after his disappearance, overwhelmed by grief and uncertainty, his wife returned to her parental home. The family endured years of silence, marked by unanswered questions and fading hope.

Everything changed when Ramakant was found and brought under the care of Snehalaya Charitable Trust in Kasaragod, Kerala, in collaboration with Thanal Snehaveedu, Kannur. He was admitted to the Snehalaya Psycho Social Rehabilitation centre on March 22, 2025, and after a brief recovery period, dedicated efforts were made to locate his family.

Once his family was found, Ramakant’s wife was contacted. Upon hearing the news of her husband’s return, she was overcome with emotion. The reunion was deeply moving, with his mother, brother, and three children (two daughters and one son) embracing him after nearly a decade of separation. Villagers and neighbours also gathered to celebrate the return of a long-lost member of their community.

This heart-warming reunion stands as a powerful testament to the resilience of families, the enduring spirit of compassion, and the life-changing work of Snehalaya Charitable Trust. Through their unwavering commitment to rescuing, rehabilitating, and reuniting missing individuals with their families, they continue to bring hope, dignity, and new beginnings to those once thought lost.

8 ವರ್ಷಗಳ ನಂತರ ರಾಮಕಾಂತ್ ಜೆನಾ ಬಾಲಾಸೋರ್, ಓಡಿಶಾದಲ್ಲಿರುವ ತಮ್ಮ ಕುಟುಂಬದೊಂದಿಗೆ ಪುನರ್ಮಿಲನ ಹೊಂದಿದರು

ಭಾವನಾತ್ಮಕ ಕ್ಷಣದಲ್ಲಿ, ರಾಮನಾಥ್, ಅವರ ನಿಜ ನಾಮ ರಾಮಕಾಂತ್ ಜೆನಾ, ಆತನನ್ನು 8 ವರ್ಷಗಳ ಬಳಿಕ ಕುಟುಂಬದೊಂದಿಗೆ ಪುನಃ ಸೇರುವುದು ಎಲ್ಲರ ಕಣ್ಣಲ್ಲೂ ಆನಂದಭರಿತ ಕಣ್ಣೀರನ್ನು ತಂದಿತು. 2025ರ ಏಪ್ರಿಲ್ 17ರಂದು ಬಾಲಾಸೋರ್ನಲ್ಲಿ ಈ ಪುನರ್ಮಿಲನ ಸಂಭವಿಸಿತು, ಅವರ ಪತ್ನಿ, ಮಕ್ಕಳು, ತಾಯಿ, ಸಹೋದರ ಮತ್ತು ಗ್ರಾಮಸ್ಥರು ಆತ್ಮೀಯವಾಗಿ ಆತನನ್ನು ಆಲಿಂಗಿಸಿದರು.

8 ವರ್ಷಗಳ ಹಿಂದೆ ತಮ್ಮ ಸಹೋದರನೊಂದಿಗೆ ಖಡಗ್‌ಪೂರಿಗೆ ಭೇಟಿಯೊಂದು ನೀಡಿದಾಗ ರಾಮಕಾಂತ್ ಕಾಣೆಯಾಗಿದ್ದರು. ಆ ಸಮಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಯಾವುದೇ ಕಾಣೆಯಾಗಿರುವ ವರದಿ ನೀಡಲಾಗಿರಲಿಲ್ಲ ಮತ್ತು ಹಲವು ವರ್ಷಗಳ ಕಾಲ ಅವರ ಸುಳಿವು ಸಿಕ್ಕಿರಲಿಲ್ಲ. ಕಾಣೆಯಾದ 2 ವರ್ಷಗಳ ನಂತರ ನಿರಾಸೆಯ ಜೊತೆಗೆ ನೋವಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಜೀವಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದ ಅವರ ಪತ್ನಿ ತವರಿಗೆ ಮರಳಿದ್ದರು. ಈ ಸಮಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಕುಟುಂಬವು ನಿರುತ್ತರ ಪ್ರಶ್ನೆಗಳೊಂದಿಗೆ ಕಾಲ ಕಳೆಯುತ್ತಿದ್ದರೂ, ಮತ್ತು ಅವರ ನಿರೀಕ್ಷೆಯನ್ನು ನಿಲ್ಲಿಸಿತ್ತು.

ಈ ಸ್ಥಿತಿಗೆ ಬದಲಾವಣೆ ಉಂಟಾದುದು ರಾಮಕಾಂತ್ ಅವರನ್ನು ಕಣ್ಣೂರಿನ ಥನಾಲ್ ಸ್ನೇಹವೀಡು ಅವರ ಸಹಕಾರದಲ್ಲಿ ಅವರನ್ನು 2025ರ ಮಾರ್ಚ್ 22 ರಂದು ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯ ಮಾನಸಿಕ ಪುನರ್ವಸತಿ ಕೇಂದ್ರ ಮಂಜೇಶ್ವರದಲ್ಲಿ ಸೇರಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. ಅವರ ಚಿಕ್ಕದಾದ ಪುನಶ್ಚೇತನದ ನಂತರ, ಕುಟುಂಬವನ್ನು ಹುಡುಕಲು ಕಟ್ಟುನಿಟ್ಟಾದ ಪ್ರಯತ್ನಗಳು ಆರಂಭವಾಗಿದ್ದವು.
ಆತನ ಪತ್ನಿಗೆ ಈ ಸುದ್ದಿ ತಿಳಿಸಿದಾಗ, ಆಕೆ ಭಾವುಕರಾಗಿದ್ದರು. ನಂತರ ನಡೆದ ಪುನರ್ಮಿಲನ ಅತ್ಯಂತ ತಾಳ್ಮೆಯ, ಪ್ರೀತಿಯ ಕ್ಷಣವಾಗಿತ್ತು ,ತಾಯಿ, ಸಹೋದರ, ಮತ್ತು ಮೂರು ಮಕ್ಕಳು ರಾಮಕಾಂತ್ ಅವರನ್ನು ಆಲಿಂಗಿಸಿದರು. ಗ್ರಾಮದವರೂ ಸೇರಿ, ಈ ದುರ್ಗಟನೆಯಿಂದ ದೂರವಾದ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿಯ ಪತ್ತೆಯಾಗುವಿಕೆ ಮತ್ತು ಮರಳಿ ಮನೆ ಸೇರುವ ಸಂಭ್ರಮವನ್ನು ಹಂಚಿಕೊಂಡರು.
