Manjeshwar, April 9, 2025: In a deeply emotional and long-awaited moment, MD Haroon Mallik fondly known as Haroon was reunited with his family in Pandooh, Mahanand (West Bengal), after being separated for an unimaginable 32 years.Haroon, who remained unmarried, had once left his village in search of work, returning home only occasionally. However, during one such visit, his life took a tragic turn.
He fell into drug addiction, which eventually led to mental health challenges. Unaware of his suffering, his family searched for him desperately but eventually feared the worst that he might no longer be alive. Years passed, but hope was quietly kept alive. In 2021, Haroon was rescued by Thanal NGO, Kannur, and started his treatment then they referred to Snehalaya Charitable Trusts, Kasaragod, where his journey to find home.
He was later transferred to Shraddha Foundation, which facilitated the final steps in locating his family. On April 9, 2025, tears flowed freely as Haroon finally embraced his mother, sister, brother, nephew, and fellow villagers. The reunion was not just a personal triumph, but a powerful testament to human resilience, a mother’s enduring love, and the tireless efforts of the organizations that never gave up on him. This extraordinary story reminds us that even after decades, love can still find its way home.
32 ವರ್ಷಗಳ ಧೀರ್ಘ ಬೇರ್ಪಡಿಕೆಯ ನಂತರ ಮನೆಗೆ ಮರಳಿದ ಹರೂನ್
ಮಂಜೇಶ್ವರ, ಏಪ್ರಿಲ್ 9, 2025: ಒಂದು ಹ್ರದಯಸ್ಪರ್ಷಿ ಕ್ಷಣದಲ್ಲಿ, ಎಂ.ಡಿ. ಹರೂನ್ ಮಲ್ಲಿಕ್—[ಹಾರುನ್ ಎಂಬ ಹೆಸರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಕರೆಯಲ್ಪಡುವವರು] 32 ವರ್ಷಗಳ ನಂತರ, ಪಾಂಡುಹ್, ಮಹಾನಂದ್ (ಪಶ್ಚಿಮ ಬಂಗಾಳ) ಎಂಬ ತಮ್ಮ ಊರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಕುಟುಂಬದೊಂದಿಗೆ ಪುನಃ ಸೇರಿದರು.
ವಿವಾಹಿತನಾಗದೆ ಉಳಿದ ಹರೂನ್, ಕೆಲಸದ ಹುಡುಕಾಟದಲ್ಲಿ ತಮ್ಮ ಗ್ರಾಮವನ್ನು ಬಿಟ್ಟು ಹೊರಟಿದ್ದರು ಮತ್ತು ಅಪರೂಪಕ್ಕೆ ಮನೆಗೆ ಬರುತ್ತಿದ್ದರು. ಆದರೆ, ಮಾನಸಿಕ ಆರೋಗ್ಯದ ಸಮಸ್ಯೆಗಳಿಗೆ ಒಳಗಾದ ಹರೂನ್ ಒಂದು ದಿನ ನಾಪತ್ತೆಯಾದರು, ತಾನು ಅನುಭವಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದ ಆಂತರಿಕ ನೋವನ್ನು ಕುಟುಂಬಕ್ಕೆ ಹೇಳದಿರದ ಕಾರಣ, ಅವರು ಹರೂನ್ನ್ನು ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಇಲ್ಲಿ ಹುಡುಕಿ, ಕೊನೆಗೆ ಅವರು ಜೀವಂತವಿಲ್ಲವೋ ಎಂಬ ಭಯದಲ್ಲಿ ನಿರಾಶರಾದರು.

2025ರ ಏಪ್ರಿಲ್ 9ರಂದು, ಹರೂನ್ ತಾಯಿಯನ್ನು, ತಂಗಿಯನ್ನು, ಅಣ್ಣನನ್ನು, ಮೊಮ್ಮಗನನ್ನು ಮತ್ತು ಊರವರನ್ನು ಅಪ್ಪಿಕೊಂಡಾಗ, ಎಲ್ಲರ ಕಣ್ಣಲ್ಲಿ ಆನಂದಾಶ್ರು ಹರಿಯುತ್ತಿದ್ದವು. ಈ ಪುನರ್ಮಿಲನವು ಕೇವಲ ವೈಯಕ್ತಿಕ ಗೆಲುವಷ್ಟೇ ಅಲ್ಲ, ಮಾನವ ಸಹನೆಯ ಪ್ರತೀಕವೂ ಹೌದು. ಇದೊಂದು ತಾಯಿಯ ಅಳಿಯದ ಪ್ರೀತಿಗೆ ಮತ್ತು ಅವನನ್ನು ಮರೆಯದೆ ಆಶೆಯಿಂದ ಉಳಿಸಿದ ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯ ಮತ್ತು ಶದ್ದಾ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಗಳ ಅಚಲ ಪ್ರಯತ್ನಗಳಿಗೆ ಸಾಕ್ಷಿಯಾಗಿದೆ.
