Manjeshwar:  In an emotional reunion, 62-year-old Kunee Munda, who had been missing for seven long years, was joyfully reunited with her family on January 24, 2025. Thanks to the tireless efforts of Snehalaya Charitable Trust and Shraddha Foundations, Kunee was able to embrace her son, daughter-in-law, and meet her two granddaughters for the very first time.

Kunee’s story is one of hardship and heartache. After her son’s marriage, she struggled with mental illness and turned to alcohol, which led to her departure from home. For seven years, she wandered, battling addiction and mental health challenges. However, hope was restored when Snehalaya, rescued her on December 19, 2024.

On the day of the reunion, Kunee’s return to her village was met with overwhelming joy from her family and neighbors. Tears flowed freely as she held her granddaughters, experiencing a moment she had feared would never come.

This touching reunion is a testament to the dedication of Snehalaya and Shraddha Foundations, whose commitment to helping the vulnerable is changing lives and bringing families back together.

ಮಂಜೇಶ್ವರ: ಮಗದೊಂದು ಮೃದುಮಧುರ ಪುನರ್ಮಿಲನದಲ್ಲಿ, ಏಳು ದೀರ್ಘ ವರ್ಷಗಳಿಂದ ಕಾಣೆಯಾಗಿದ್ದ 62 ವರ್ಷದ ಕುನೀ ಮುಂಡಾ, 2025ರ ಜನವರಿ 24ರಂದು ತನ್ನ ಕುಟುಂಬವನ್ನು ಪುನಃ ಕಂಡುಕೊಂಡಳು. ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯ ಚಾರಿಟೆಬಲ್ ಟ್ರಸ್ಟ್ ಮತ್ತು ಶ್ರದ್ಧಾ ಫೌಂಡೇಶನ್‌ಗಳ ಅಪ್ರತಿಮ ಪ್ರಯತ್ನಗಳಿಂದ, ಕುನೀ ತನ್ನ ಮಗ, ಸೊಸೆ ಮತ್ತು ತನ್ನ ಇಬ್ಬರು ಮೊಮ್ಮಕ್ಕಳನ್ನು ಪುನ: ಭೇಟಿಯಾಗುವ ಅವಕಾಶವನ್ನು ಪಡೆದರು.

ಕುನೀ ಮುಂಡಾ ಅವರ ಜೀವನವು ಸಂಕಷ್ಟ ಮತ್ತು ತೊಂದರೆಗಳಿಂದ ಕೂಡಿದ ಒಂದು ಧಾರುಣ ಕಥೆಯಾಗಿದೆ. ತಮ್ಮ ಮಗನ ವಿವಾಹದ ನಂತರ, ಅವರು ಮಾನಸಿಕ ಆರೋಗ್ಯ ಸಮಸ್ಯೆಗಳಿಂದ ಕಂಗೆಟ್ಟು ಮದ್ಯಪಾನಕ್ಕೆ ವಶರಾದರು, ಇದರಿಂದಾಗಿ ಮನೆಯನ್ನೇ ತೊರೆಯುವ ಪರಿಸ್ಥಿತಿ ಉಂಟಾಯಿತು. ಏಳು ವರ್ಷಗಳ ಕಾಲ, ಅವರು ರಸ್ತೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ತಿರುಗಾಡುತ್ತಾ ಆಶ್ರಯವಿಲ್ಲದೆ ಜೀವನ ನಡೆಸಿದರು. ಆದರೆ 2024ರ ಡಿಸೆಂಬರ್ 19ರಂದು ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯ ಅವರ ರಕ್ಷಣೆಗೆ ಧಾವಿಸಿ, ಹೊಸ ಆಶೆಯನ್ನು ನೀಡಿತು.

ಪುನರ್ಮಿಲನದ ದಿನ, ಕುನೀಯವರು ತಮ್ಮ ಸ್ವಗ್ರಾಮಕ್ಕೆ ಮರಳಿದಾಗ, ಅವರ ಕುಟುಂಬದ ಸದಸ್ಯರು ಹಾಗೂ ನೆರೆಹೊರೆಯವರು ಅಪಾರ ಸಂತೋಷದಿಂದ ಸ್ವಾಗತಿಸಿದರು. ಮೊಮ್ಮಕ್ಕಳನ್ನು ಮೊದಲ ಭಾರಿಗೆ ಅಪ್ಪಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವ ಕ್ಷಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಅವರ ಕಣ್ಣೀರು ತಡೆ ಇಲ್ಲದೆ ಧಾರಾಕಾರವಾಗಿ ಸುರಿಯುತ್ತಿತ್ತು.
