Manjeshwar, January 22, 2025 – A team from Snehalaya successfully rescued a 30-year-old woman, Laxmi, from Mangalore Junction Railway Station, where she was found in a distressed state with poor personal hygiene. Laxmi, who was communicating in Telugu, appeared to be experiencing psychiatric symptoms, according to the initial assessment by the rescue team.
She has been admitted to Snehalaya’s Psycho-Social Rehabilitation Home for Women, where she will receive the care and support she needs to recover.
