Manjeshwar: In an emotional reunion after six long years, Ujjwal Das, also known as Charan, was finally brought back to his family on December 21, 2024. The heartwarming moment was made possible through the tireless efforts of Snehalaya Charitable Trust and Shraddha Foundations.

Ujjwal, who has been deaf and mute since birth, went missing in 2018 while on his way to his uncle’s house. Despite desperate searches by his family and the local community, no trace of him could be found. The disappearance had a devastating impact on his family. His mother, unable to bear the grief, passed away just months after Ujjwal went missing, and his father sadly passed away last year, never having seen his son again.

In May 2019, Ujjwal was found and rescued by Snehalaya Charitable Trust, where he was given the care and support he needed. Over the years, he received counseling and assistance to help him manage his condition and heal emotionally.

On December 21, 2024, Ujjwal was joyfully reunited with his brother, sister, sister-in-law, uncle, aunt, and the entire village, who welcomed him back with open arms. Tears of joy flowed as they embraced him after years of uncertainty and heartache.

This reunion is a powerful testament to the unwavering dedication of Snehalaya and Shraddha Foundations, whose mission to reunite lost individuals with their families has brought hope and healing to countless lives.

ಹುಟ್ಟಿನಿಂದಲೇ ಕಿವುಡ ಮತ್ತು ಮೂಕನಾಗಿದ್ದ ಉಜ್ವಲ್ 2018ರಲ್ಲಿ ತನ್ನ ಚಿಕ್ಕಪ್ಪನ ಮನೆಗೆ ಹೋಗುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾಗ ನಾಪತ್ತೆಯಾಗಿದ್ದರು. ಅವರ ಕುಟುಂಬ ಮತ್ತು ಸ್ಥಳೀಯ ಸಮುದಾಯದ ಹತಾಶ ಹುಡುಕಾಟದ ಹೊರತಾಗಿಯೂ, ಅವರ ಯಾವುದೇ ಕುರುಹು ಕೂಡ ಪತ್ತೆಯಾಗಿರಲಿಲ್ಲ. ಉಜ್ವಲ್ ಅವರ ನಾಪತ್ತೆಯು ಅವನ ಕುಟುಂಬದ ಮೇಲೆ ವಿನಾಶಕಾರಿ ಪರಿಣಾಮವನ್ನು ಬೀರಿತು. ಉಜ್ವಲ್ ನಾಪತ್ತೆಯಾದ ಕೆಲವೇ ತಿಂಗಳುಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಅವರ ತಾಯಿ ದುಃಖವನ್ನು ಸಹಿಸಲಾರದೆ ನಿಧನರಾದರು, ಮತ್ತು ಅವರ ತಂದೆ ಕಳೆದ ವರ್ಷ ನಿಧನರಾದರು, ಮತ್ತೆ ಅವರು ಅವರ ಮಗನನ್ನು ನೋಡಲಿಲ್ಲ.

ಡಿಸೆಂಬರ್ 21, 2024 ರಂದು, ಉಜ್ವಲ್ ತನ್ನ ಸಹೋದರ, ಸಹೋದರಿ, ಅತ್ತಿಗೆ, ಚಿಕ್ಕಪ್ಪ, ಚಿಕ್ಕಮ್ಮ ಮತ್ತು ಇಡೀ ಹಳ್ಳಿಯೊಂದಿಗೆ ಸಂತೋಷದಿಂದ ಮತ್ತೆ ಸೇರಿಕೊಂಡರು, ಅವರು ಅವರನ್ನು ಸಂತೋಷದಿಂದ ಸ್ವಾಗತಿಸಿದರು. ಹಲವು ವರ್ಷಗಳ ನಂತರ ಅವರು ಅವನನ್ನು ಅಪ್ಪಿಕೊಂಡಾಗ ಸಂತೋಷದ ಕಣ್ಣೀರು ಹರಿಯಿತು.
