Manjeshwar,October 17, 2024 – In a heartfelt reunion that has touched many, Suraj, a young man once lost to the streets, has finally made his way back home to the loving embrace of his family in Delhi, thanks to the unwavering efforts of Snehalaya’s and Shraddha Foundation’s dedicated team.

On August 8, 2024, the compassionate team from Snehalaya’s Psycho-Social Rehabilitation Centre found Suraj at Mangalore’s Central Railway Station. Confused, disoriented, and struggling with disorganized speech, he clutched tobacco products, seemingly lost to the world around him. They brought him to safety, offering him a place where he could heal and find himself again.

For months, the team provided him with round-the-clock care, including psychological support and treatment. They tirelessly worked on his recovery while piecing together fragments of his life, determined to reunite him with his loved ones. Finally, they discovered his roots in Delhi.

On October 17, 2024, his overjoyed family finally embraced Suraj after years of separation. Tears flowed freely, hugs were endless, and the love that had been missing for so long blossomed once again during an emotional homecoming.

This beautiful moment of reconnection happened because of the relentless efforts of Snehalaya and Shraddha Foundation. Their dedication to individuals like Suraj offers second chances at life, helping lost souls reconnect with their families and reintegrate into society.

2024ರ ಆಗಸ್ಟ್ 8ನೇ ತಾರೀಕು ಮಂಗಳೂರು ಕೇಂದ್ರ ರೈಲು ನಿಲ್ದಾಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಸೂರಜ್ ಎಂಬ ಯುವಕ, ಅಶಾಂತ ಮನಸ್ಥಿತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ, ಅಸಂಬದ್ದ ಮಾತುಗಳೊಂದಿಗೆ, ಕೈಯಲ್ಲಿ ತಂಬಾಕು ಉತ್ಪನ್ನಗಳನ್ನು ಹಿಡಿದುಕೊಂಡು, ಸುತ್ತಮುತ್ತಲಿನ ಜಗತ್ತಿಗೆ ಸಂವೇದನಾರಹಿತನಾಗಿ ಕಂಡುಬಂದಾಗ ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯ ಮಂಜೇಶ್ವರ ಪುನರ್ವಸತಿ ಕೇಂದ್ರದ ಕಾಳಜಿಯ ತಂಡ ಸೂರಜ್ ಅವರನ್ನು ರಕ್ಷಿಸಿದರು ಹಾಗೂ ಆತನ ಬಾಳ ಹೆಜ್ಜೆಗೆ ಸವಿರೂಪ ನೀಡಿ ಹೊಸ ಜೀವನದ ಆರಂಭಕ್ಕೆ ಕಾಲಿಡುವಂತೆ ಸಹಾಯ ನೀಡಿದರು.

ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಕೆಲವು ತಿಂಗಳಕಾಲ ಆತನಿಗೆ ಪ್ರೀತಿಯ ಆರೈಕೆ, ಮಾನಸಿಕ ಬೆಂಬಲ ಮತ್ತು ಸೂಕ್ತ ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆಯನ್ನು ನೀಡಲಾಯಿತು. ತಂಡದವರು, ಸೂರಜ್ ಅವರ ಚೇತರಿಕೆ ಮಾತ್ರವಲ್ಲ, ಚದುರಿದ ಬಾಳಿನ ಸ್ಮತಿಗಳನ್ನು ಒಟ್ಟುಗೂಡಿಸಿ ಸೂರಜ್ ನ ದೆಹಲಿಯ ಮೂಲದ ಮಾಹಿತಿ ಕಂಡುಹಿಡಿಯುವಲ್ಲಿ ಯಶಸ್ವಿಯಾದರು ಹಾಗೂ ಆತನನ್ನು ಸುರಕ್ಷಿತವಾಗಿ ತನ್ನ ಪ್ರೀತಿಯವರ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಹಿಂತಿರುಗುವ ಮಾರ್ಗವನ್ನು ತೋರಿಸಿದರು.

2024ರ ಅಕ್ಟೋಬರ್ 17ರಂದು, ವರ್ಷಗಳ ನಂತರ, ಸೂರಜ್ ತಮ್ಮ ಕುಟುಂಬವನ್ನು ಪುನಃ ಸೇರಿಕೊಂಡರು. ಈ ಭಾವಪೂರ್ಣ ಮಿಲನದಲ್ಲಿ ಆನಂದಭಾಷ್ಪಗಳ ಹರಿವಿನೊಂದಿಗೆ ಧೀರ್ಘ ಕಾಲದಿಂದ ಅಗಲಿದ ಮನಗಳು ಪುನಃ ಒಂದುಗೂಡಿದವು.
