Manjeshwar, November 19, 2024: In a moment filled with overwhelming emotions and uncontainable joy, Shanti was finally reunited with her beloved son after a heart-wrenching separation of four months. The reunion, which took place amidst tears, hugs, and heartfelt prayers, marked the end of a distressing chapter for the family and the beginning of new hope.

Shanti’s ordeal began in July 2024 when, while traveling to visit relatives, she mistakenly boarded the wrong train and found herself stranded in Kerala. Alone and disoriented, her world turned upside down. Her sons and extended family launched an extensive search, spreading word far and wide, but their efforts initially bore no fruit.

Fate took a kind turn when Snehalaya Charitable Trust in Kasaragod, Kerala, found Shanti wandering on the streets on September 8, 2024. Malnourished and distressed, she was immediately given medical care and counseling. Over the next two months, the team at Snehalaya worked tirelessly to heal her physically and emotionally while simultaneously tracing her family.

Through a collaborative effort with Shraddha Foundation, they were finally able to locate Shanti’s family. The moment of reunion was nothing short of miraculous. As Shanti stepped out to meet her son, her eyes welled up with tears of relief and joy. Her son ran to her, holding her in an embrace that seemed to close the gap of months spent in anxiety and despair.

The entire village gathered to witness the reunion, their hearts swelling with gratitude for the selfless efforts of Snehalaya and Shraddha Foundation. The reunion also served as a reminder of the power of humanity and compassion.
