On October 18, 2024,  a heartwarming reunion unfolded as 50-year-old Sheeba was joyfully reunited with her mother after being missing for four months. The emotional reunion took place on October 17, 2024, following Sheeba’s admission to Snehalaya Psycho-social Rehabilitation Center for Women on July 13, 2024. She had been rescued by Ms. Amrutha K of the Pink Police Patrol 3 from Kanhangad Railway Station. Snehalaya’s dedicated team, through extensive counseling sessions, managed to trace Sheeba’s family and inform them of her whereabouts. According to her mother, Sheeba had gone missing while seeking medical treatment for her legs. Tears of happiness marked their reunion, symbolizing a fresh start for Sheeba. This moment highlights Snehalaya’s tireless efforts in reuniting lost individuals with their families, showcasing their unwavering commitment to providing care, support, and rehabilitation services to marginalized individuals.

ದಿನಾಂಕ 13.07.2024 ರಂದು ಕಾಸರಗೊಡಿನ ಜಿಲ್ಲಾ ಆಸ್ಪತ್ರೆಯಿಂದ ಶೀಭಾ ಎಂಬ ಸುಮಾರು 50 ವರ್ಷ ಪ್ರಾಯದ ಮಹಿಳೆಯನ್ನು ಕಾಸರಗೋಡಿನ ಪಿಂಕ್ ಪೋಲಿಸರು, ಕಾಞಂಗಾಡ್ ರೈಲ್ವೇ ನಿಲ್ದಾಣದಿಂದ ರಕ್ಷಿಸಿ, ಮಂಜೇಶ್ವರದ ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯ ಮಾನಸಿಕ ಅಸ್ವಸ್ಥರ ಪುನರ್ವಸತಿ ಕೇಂದ್ರದ ಮಹಿಳೆಯರ ವಿಭಾಗಕ್ಕೆ ದಾಖಲಿಸಿದ್ದರು.
ದಾಖಲಾತಿಯ ಸಮಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಮಾನಸಿಕ ಸಮಸ್ಯೆಯಿಂದ ಬಳಲುತಿದ್ದ ಈಕೆ ಆಕ್ರಮಣಕಾರಿ ಸ್ವಭಾವವನ್ನು ಹೊಂದಿದ್ದಳು. ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯದ ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆ ಮತ್ತು ಆರೈಕೆಯಿಂದ ಆಕೆಯ ಅರೋಗ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಕ್ರಮೇಣ ಸುಧಾರಣೆ ಕಂಡುಬಂತು, ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯದ ಸಿಬ್ಬಂದಿಗಳ ಪರಿಶ್ರಮದಿಂದ ಆಕೆಯ ವಿಳಾಸವನ್ನು ಪತ್ತೆಹಚ್ಚಲಾಯಿತು.
ದಿನಾಂಕ 17.10.2024ರಂದು ತಿರುವನಂತಪುರದ ಅಂಬಲತಾರಾ ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಕುಟುಂಬದೊಂದಿಗೆ ಆಕೆಯ ಪುನರ್ಮಿಲನವಾಯಿತು. ನಾಲ್ಕು ತಿಂಗಳ ಬಳಿಕ ಆಕೆಯನ್ನು ನೋಡಿ ಕುಟುಂಬಿಕರು ತುಂಬಾ ಸಂತೋಷಪಟ್ಟರು.ಈ ಪುನರ್ಮಿಲನದ ಪುಣ್ಯ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ಕೆ ಸಹಕರಿಸಿದ ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಗೆ ಕುಟುಂಬಿಕರು ತುಂಬು ಹೃದಯದ ಕೃತಜ್ನತೆಗಳನ್ನು ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಿದರು
