Snehalaya Facilitates Emotional Reunion of Rupesh with Family after 4-Year Separations September 22, 2024
In a joyful reunion, Rupesh, also known as Gurunath Pawar, was reunited with his family on September 22, 2024, after being separated for four long years. This joyful outcome was made possible through the tireless efforts of Snehalaya Psycho Social Rehabilitation Centre and Shradha Rehabilitation Centre in Mumbai.
Rupesh, a 45-year-old former printing press employee, had been struggling with mental illness for 20 years. He was admitted to Snehalaya on January 4, 2024, and later transferred to Shradha Rehabilitation Centre on August 10, 2024.
Despite his prolonged battle with mental health issues, Rupesh’s response to the reunion was remarkably positive. Overjoyed family members, including his brother, sister-in-law, and other loved ones, welcomed him back home.
“We are grateful to Snehalaya and Shradha Rehabilitation Centres for their unwavering support and dedication,” said Rupesh’s brother, Ambasa Pawar. “This reunion is a new beginning for our family.”
Snehalaya’s efforts demonstrate their commitment to reuniting families and providing hope to those affected by mental illness.
ದಿನಾಂಕ 04.01.2023 ರಂದು ನೆಲ್ಯಾಡಿಯ ಬೀದಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಅಲೆದಾಡುತಿದ್ದ ರೂಪೆಶ್ ಎಂಬ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿಯನ್ನು ಸಮಾಜ ಸೇವಕರಾದ ಶಕೀಲ್, ಅಕ್ಬರ್ ಅಲಿ ಮತ್ತು ಇರ್ಫಾನ್ ಅವರು ರಕ್ಷಿಸಿ ಮುಂದಿನ ಆರೈಕೆ ಮತ್ತು ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆಗಾಗಿ ಮಂಜೇಶ್ವರದ ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯ ಮಾನಸಿಕ ಅಸ್ವಸ್ಥರ ಪುನರ್ವಸತಿ ಕೇಂದ್ರಕ್ಕೆ ದಾಖಲಿಸಿದ್ದರು.
ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯದ ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆಯಿಂದ ಆತನ ಅರೋಗ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಕ್ರಮೇಣ ಸುಧಾರಣೆ ಕಂಡುಬಂತು, ಆತನ ಪುನರ್ಮಿಲನ ಪ್ರಕ್ರೀಯೆಯನ್ನು ಸುಗಮಗೊಳಿಸಲು ಅತನನ್ನು ಮುಂಬೈಯ ಶೃದ್ಧಾ ರೀಹ್ಯಾಬಿಲೆ‍‌ಶನ್ ಫೌಂಡೆಶನ್ ಗೆ ವರ್ಗಾಯಿಸಲಾಯಿತು.
ದಿನಾಂಕ 22.09.2024ರಂದು ಕರ್ನಾಟಕದ ಗದಗ ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಆತನ ಪುನರ್ಮಿಲನವಾಯಿತು. ನಾಲ್ಕು ವರ್ಷದ ಬಳಿಕ ಆತನನ್ನು ನೋಡಿ ಕುಟುಂಬಿಕರು ತುಂಬಾ ಸಂತೋಷಪಟ್ಟರು ಅಂತೆಯೇ ಭಾವುಕರಾದರು.ಕುಟುಂಬದವರಿಂದ ದೊರೆತ ಮಾಹಿತಿಯ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಆತನ ನಿಜ ಹೆಸರು ಗುರುನಾಥ್ ಪವಾರ್, ಸ್ಥಳಿಯ ಮುದ್ರಣಾಲಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಕಾರ್ಯನಿರ್ವಹಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದ ಆತ ಕಳೆದ ಇಪ್ಪತ್ತು ವರ್ಷದಿಂದ ಮಾನಸಿಕ ಅಸ್ವಸ್ಥತೆಯಿಂದ ಬಳಲುತ್ತಿದ್ದ.ಈ ಪುನರ್ಮಿಲನದ ಪುಣ್ಯ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ಕೆ ಸಹಕರಿಸಿದ ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯ ಮತ್ತು ಶೃದ್ದಾ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಗಳಿಗೆ ಕುಟುಂಬಿಕರು ತುಂಬು ಹೃದಯದ ಕೃತಜ್ನತೆಗಳನ್ನು ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಿದರು.
