On August 3, 2024, the Snehalaya team rescued a mentally ill man named Ramesh, approximately 32 years old, from Hampankatte, Mangalore, near Pereira Hotel, based on information provided by Mr. Prakash Vegas, a staff member of Snehalaya. He was admitted to the Snehalaya Psycho-Social Rehabilitation Centre for Men.
