On 01.08.2024, Mrs. Olivia Crasta, the Trustee cum Secretary of Snehalaya, along with Mr. Basavaraj, a staff member of Shraddha Rehabilitation Foundation in Mumbai, and the Snehalaya team, rescued a mentally ill person named Rajan Rovin Das (29) from Mangalore Central Railway Station. He was admitted to the Snehalaya Psycho-Social Rehabilitation Centre for Men.
Rajan Rovin Das was found wandering outside the railway station, shabbily dressed, and is known to have a habit of consuming alcohol and tobacco. ದಿನಾಂಕ 01.08.2024 ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯದ ಟ್ರಸ್ಟಿ ಅಂತೆಯೇ ಕಾರ್ಯದರ್ಶಿಯಾದ ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಒಲಿವಿಯಾ ಕ್ರಾಸ್ತಾರವರು ಅವರ ತಂಡ ಮತ್ತು ಮುಂಬೈಯ ಶ್ರದ್ಧಾ ಕೇಂದ್ರದ ಸಿಬ್ಬಂದಿಯಾದ ಶ್ರೀ ಬಸವರಾಜ್ ಅವರ ಸಹಕಾರದೊಂದಿಗೆ ಮಂಗಳೂರು ಸೆಂಟ್ರಲ್ ರೈಲ್ವೆ ನಿಲ್ದಾಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಅಲೆದಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದ ರಾಜನ್ ರೋವಿನ್ ದಾಸ್(29) ಎಂಬ ಮಾನಸಿಕ ಅಸ್ವಸ್ಥನನ್ನು ರಕ್ಷಿಸಿ ಮುಂದಿನ ಆರೈಕೆ ಮತ್ತು ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆಗಾಗಿ ಮಂಜೇಶ್ವರದ ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯ ಮಾನಸಿಕ ಅಸ್ವಸ್ಥರ ಪುನರ್ವಸತಿ ಕೇಂದ್ರಕ್ಕೆ ದಾಖಲಿಸಿದರು.
