On January 12, 2024, a person named Noufal Rehman, approximately 26 years old, was found wandering on the streets of Kavoor Airport Road. Mr. Prakash Pinto, the Trustee of Snehalaya, along with his friend Mr. Maxim Dsouza, rescued Noufal and admitted him to the Snehalaya psycho-social rehabilitation center for men.
After receiving essential care and treatment at Snehalaya, his mental health condition improved. Due to the dedicated efforts of the Snehalaya and Shraddha teams, his address was successfully traced. On June 19, 2024, he was reunited with his family in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu. The family was happy to see him after one year. According to his family, he had been suffering from mental illness for the past five years and was under treatment at a local hospital. However, due to improper medication adherence, his condition had worsened. The family expressed their gratitude towards the Snehalaya and Shraddha centers for their selfless service.
ದಿನಾಂಕ 12.01.2024 ರಂದು ಮಂಗಳೂರಿನ ಕಾವೂರು ಬಳಿಯ ರಸ್ತೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಅಲೆದಾಡುತಿದ್ದ ನೌಫಾಲ್ ರೆಹಮಾನ್ ಎಂಬ ಸುಮಾರು 26ವರ್ಷದ ಮಾನಸಿಕ ಅಸ್ವಸ್ಥನನ್ನು ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯದ ಟ್ರಸ್ಟಿಯಾದ ಶ್ರೀ ಪ್ರಕಾಶ್ ಪಿಂಟೋರವರು ಅವರ ಸ್ನೇಹಿತರಾದ ಮ್ಯಾಕ್ಸಿಮ್ ಪಿಂಟೋರವರ ಸಹಾಯದೊಂದಿಗೆ ರಕ್ಷಿಸಿ ಮಂಜೇಶ್ವರದ ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯ ಮಾನಸಿಕ ಅಸ್ವಸ್ಥರ ಪುನರ್ವಸತಿ ಕೇಂದ್ರಕ್ಕೆ ದಾಖಲಿಸಿದ್ದರು.
ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯದಲ್ಲಿ ದೊರೆತ ಆರೈಕೆ ಮತ್ತು ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆ ಪಡೆದ ನಂತರ ಆತನ ಮಾನಸಿಕ ಆರೋಗ್ಯ ಸ್ಥಿತಿ ಸುಧಾರಿಸಿತು. ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯ ಮತ್ತು ಶ್ರದ್ಧಾ ತಂಡಗಳ ಸಮರ್ಪಿತ ಪ್ರಯತ್ನದಿಂದಾಗಿ, ಈ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿಯ ವಿಳಾಸವನ್ನು ಯಶಸ್ವಿಯಾಗಿ ಪತ್ತೆಹಚ್ಚಲಾಯಿತು.
ಜೂನ್ 19, 2024 ರಂದು ನೌಫಾಲ್ ತಮಿಳುನಾಡಿನ ಕೊಯಮತ್ತೂರು ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿರುವ ತಮ್ಮ ಕುಟುಂಬದೊಂದಿಗೆ, ಮತ್ತೆ ಒಂದಾದರು. ಒಂದು ವರ್ಷದ ಬಳಿಕ ಆತನನ್ನು ನೋಡಿ ಮನೆಯವರು ತುಂಬಾ ಖುಷಿಪಟ್ಟರು.ಕುಟುಂಬಿಕರ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ನೌಫಾಲ್ ಕಳೆದ ಐದು ವರ್ಷಗಳಿಂದ ಮಾನಸಿಕ ಸಮಸ್ಯೆಯಿಂದ ಬಳಲುತಿದ್ದನು, ಸ್ಥಳಿಯ ಆಸ್ಪತ್ರೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆ ಪಡೆಯುತ್ತಿದ್ದ ಆದರೆ ಸರಿಯಾಗಿ ಔಷಧಿ ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳದ ಕಾರಣ ಆತನ ಆರೋಗ್ಯ ಮತ್ತಷ್ಟು ಹದೆಗೆಟ್ಟಿತು . ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯ ಮತ್ತು ಶ್ರದ್ಧಾ ಕೇಂದ್ರಗಳ ಈ ನಿಸ್ವಾರ್ಥ ಸೇವೆಗೆ ಕುಟುಂಬದವರು ಕೃತಜ್ಞತೆ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಿದರು.
