On February 21, 2024, a person named Jithin, who was suffering from mental illness and undergoing treatment at the Government Mental Hospital of Calicut under the Prathyasha project of the Kerala Government, was admitted to the Snehalaya Psycho-Social Rehabilitation Centre for men.
After receiving care and treatment at Snehalaya, his condition improved. His address was found, and his family was traced within a few days. On May 23, 2024, he was reunified with his family in Bihar. His parents were happy to see him after four years of separation. According to his family, he went missing when he went to Delhi in search of work. The family was overjoyed by this reunion and expressed their gratitude towards Snehalaya for their selfless efforts.
ದಿನಾಂಕ 21.02.2024ರಂದು ಕೇರಳದ ಕ್ಯಾಲಿಕಟ್ ನ ಸರ್ಕಾರಿ ಮಾನಸಿಕ ಆಸ್ಪತ್ರೆಯಿಂದ ಜಿತಿನ್ ಎಂಬ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿಯನ್ನು ಮುಂದಿನ ಆರೈಕೆ ಮತ್ತು ಪುನರ್ಮಿಲನಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಕೇರಳ ಸರ್ಕಾರದ ಪ್ರತ್ಯಾಷ ಯೋಜನೆಯಡಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಮಂಜೇಶ್ವರದ ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯ ಮಾನಸಿಕ ಅಸ್ವಸ್ಥರ ಪುನರ್ವಸತಿ ಕೇಂದ್ರಕ್ಕೆ ದಾಖಲಿಸಲಾಗಿತ್ತು.ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯದ ಆರೈಕೆ ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆ ಮತ್ತು ಸಿಬ್ಬಂದಿಯ ಆಪ್ತಸಮಾಲೋಚನೆಯಿಂದ ಕೆಲವೇ ದಿನಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಆತನ ಕುಟುಂಬದ ವಿಳಾಸವನ್ನು ಪತ್ತೆ ಹಚ್ಚಲು ಸಾಧ್ಯವಾಯಿತು.
ದಿನಾಂಕ 23.05.2024ರಂದು ಬಿಹಾರದಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಕುಟುಂಬದೊಂದಿಗೆ ಆತನ ಪುನರ್ಮಿಲನವಾಯಿತು. ನಾಲ್ಕು ವರ್ಷದ ಬಳಿಕ ಮನೆಗೆ ಮರಳಿದ ಮಗನನ್ನು ನೋಡಿ ಹೆತ್ತವರು ತುಂಬಾ ಸಂತೋಷಪಟ್ಟರು. ಕುಟುಂಬದವರ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಜಿತಿನ್ ಕೆಲಸ ಹುಡುಕುವ ಸಲುವಾಗಿ ದೆಹಲಿಗೆ ಹೋದಾಗ ನಾಪತ್ತೆಯಾಗಿದ್ದರು. ಈ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ಕೆ ಸಹಕರಿಸಿದ ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಗೆ ಕುಟುಂಬಿಕರು ತುಂಬು ಹೃದಯದ ಕೃತಜ್ನತೆಗಳನ್ನು ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಿದರು.
