On October 6, 2023, a woman named Jayanthi, who was suffering from mental illness and was under treatment at the General Hospital of Kasaragod, was admitted to the Snehalaya Psycho-Social Rehabilitation Home for women under the Prathyasha project of the Kerala Government.
After receiving care and treatment at Snehalaya, her condition improved. It was possible to trace her address, and her family was contacted within a few days.
On March 26, 2024, she was reunited with her family in Tamil Nadu. Her sister received her and was happy to see her after three years of separation. The family was very happy about this reunion and expressed their gratitude towards Snehalaya for their selfless efforts.
ದಿನಾಂಕ 06.10.2023ರಂದು ಕಾಸರಗೋಡಿನ ಸರ್ಕಾರಿ ಆಸ್ಪತ್ರೆಯಿಂದ, ಜಯಂತಿ ಎಂಬ ಮಹಿಳೆಯನ್ನು ಮುಂದಿನ ಆರೈಕೆ ಮತ್ತು ಪುನರ್ಮಿಲನಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಕೇರಳ ಸರ್ಕಾರದ ಪ್ರತ್ಯಾಷ ಯೋಜನೆಯಡಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಮಂಜೇಶ್ವರದ ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯ ಮಾನಸಿಕ ಅಸ್ವಸ್ಥರ ಪುನರ್ವಸತಿ ಕೇಂದ್ರದ ಮಹಿಳೆಯರ ವಿಭಾಗಕ್ಕೆ ದಾಖಲಿಸಲಾಗಿತ್ತು. ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯದ ಆರೈಕೆ ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆ ಮತ್ತು ಸಿಬ್ಬಂದಿಯ ಆಪ್ತಸಮಾಲೋಚನೆಯಿಂದ ಕೆಲವೇ ದಿನಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಆಕೆಯ ಕುಟುಂಬದ ವಿಳಾಸವನ್ನು ಪತ್ತೆ ಹಚ್ಚಲು ಸಾಧ್ಯವಾಯಿತು.
ದಿನಾಂಕ 26.03.2024ರಂದು ತಮಿಳುನಾಡಿನಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಕುಟುಂಬದೊಂದಿಗೆ ಆಕೆಯ ಪುನರ್ಮಿಲನವಾಯಿತು. ಮೂರು ವರ್ಷದ ಬಳಿಕ ಮನೆಗೆ ಮರಳಿದ ಆಕೆಯನ್ನು ನೋಡಿ ಕುಟುಂಬಿಕರು ತುಂಬಾ ಸಂತೋಷಪಟ್ಟರು. ಈ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ಕೆ ಸಹಕರಿಸಿದ ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಗೆ ಕುಟುಂಬಿಕರು ತುಂಬು ಹೃದಯದ ಕೃತಜ್ನತೆಗಳನ್ನು ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಿದರು.
