On 21.02.2024 a person named Hanumanth suffering from mental illness who was under treatment at Government Mental Hospital of Calicut was admitted to snehalaya Psycho social rehabilitation centre for men under Prathyasha project of Kerala Government.
After receiving care and treatment at Snehalaya his condition improved and due to the efforts of staffs of snehalaya it was possible to find his address and to trace his family within few days.
On 01.03.2024 Hanumanth was reunited with his family at Basavapattana of Davanagere Karnataka. The family was over joyed to see him back after 7 years of separation. The family thanked the snehalaya Centre for their selfless service in reuniting their son and they also expressed Gratitude towards the Staffs of Snehalaya Mr Thomas, Psychatric Social Worker and Yeshappa, Nursing Assistant who accompanied him in this reunion Journey.
ದಿನಾಂಕ 21.02.2024ರಂದು ಕೇರಳದ ಕ್ಯಾಲಿಕಟ್ ನ ಸರ್ಕಾರಿ ಮಾನಸಿಕ ಆಸ್ಪತ್ರೆಯಿಂದ ಹನುಮಂತ ಎಂಬ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿಯನ್ನು ಮುಂದಿನ ಆರೈಕೆ ಮತ್ತು ಪುನರ್ಮಿಲನಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಕೇರಳ ಸರ್ಕಾರದ ಪ್ರತ್ಯಾಶಾ ಯೋಜನೆಯಡಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಮಂಜೇಶ್ವರದ ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯ ಮಾನಸಿಕ ಅಸ್ವಸ್ಥರ ಪುನರ್ವಸತಿ ಕೇಂದ್ರಕ್ಕೆ ದಾಖಲಿಸಲಾಗಿತ್ತು.ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯದ ಆರೈಕೆ ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆ ಮತ್ತು ಸಿಬ್ಬಂದಿಯ ಆಪ್ತಸಮಾಲೋಚನೆಯಿಂದ ಕೆಲವೇ ದಿನಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಆತನ ಕುಟುಂಬದ ವಿಳಾಸವನ್ನು ಪತ್ತೆ ಹಚ್ಚಲು ಸಾಧ್ಯವಾಯಿತು.
ದಿನಾಂಕ 01.03.2024ರಂದು ಕರ್ನಾಟಕದ ದಾವಣಗೆರೆ ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಯ ಬಸವಪಟ್ಟನದಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಆತನ ಕುಟುಂಬದೊಂದಿಗೆ ಪುನರ್ಮಿಲನವಾಯಿತು. ಕುಟುಂಬದವರ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಮಾನಸಿಕ ಅಸ್ವಸ್ಥತೆಯಿಂದ ಬಳಲುತಿದ್ದ ಹನುಮಂತ ಕಳೆದ 7ವರ್ಷದಿಂದ ನಾಪತ್ತೆಯಾಗಿದ್ದನು. ಈ ದೀರ್ಘಾವಧಿಯ ಬಳಿಕ ಮನೆಗೆ ಮರಳಿದ ಮಗನನ್ನು ನೋಡಿ ಇಡಿ ಕುಟುಂಬ ಕಣ್ಣಿರಿಟ್ಟಿತು ಮತ್ತು ಈ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ಕೆ ಸಹಕರಿಸಿದ ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಗೆ ಮತ್ತು ಹನುಮಂತನಿಗೆ ಮನೆಯವರೆಗೆ ತಲುಪಿಸಲು ಸಹಕರಿಸಿ ಸಾಂಗತ್ಯ ನೀಡಿದ ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯದ ಸಿಬ್ಬಂದಿಗಳಾದ ಥಾಮಸ್ ಮತ್ತು ಯೇಶಪ್ಪ ಅವರಿಗೆ ತುಂಬು ಹೃದಯದ ಕೃತಜ್ನತೆಗಳನ್ನು ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಿತು.
