A housing project at Maindala, Kemmate, for Revathi Poojary and her family reached a significant milestone with the housewarming ceremony of their newly constructed home on 18th February 2024.
Mohandas Marakada, a journalist from Mangalore actively involved in children’s education, constructed a temporary hut when Revathi’s house collapsed and subsequently undertook the initiative to build a new house. Collaborating with donors, he formulated a house plan covering an area of 850 square meters. Numerous organizations and individual donors from various locations contributed to the construction efforts.
Snehalaya Charitable Trust, Manjeshwar, played a crucial role in the finishing phase by providing substantial supports by seeking support from Mr. Michael D Souza, Mr. Norbert D Souza, Mr. Bhopanna, Mr. Gerald D Souza, Benny Dubai and Mr. Naveen Jackson. Including Snehalaya’s contribution, the team spent an amount of Rs. 3,29,000/- to finish the construction works.
Mr. Jagadish Rama, President of Automation Cloud Solutions; Mr. Nawaz Addur, owner of Focus Construction; Umesh Navoora, former President of Grama Panchayath; Mr. Sunil Mendonza, President of Helping Friends, Israel; businessman Sadananda Bangera; Yuvavahini Mahila Unit President Shubha Rajendra, Joseph Crasta- Founder –Snehalaya Charitable Trust, Mohandas Marakada and other benefactors were present for the housewarming ceremony.
During the ceremony, Shri. Joseph Crasta, who played a pivotal role in the finishing stage, handed over the key to the family and was honoured for his genuine support.
The Poojary family expressed overwhelming happiness as they realized their dream home, extending heartfelt thanks to all benefactors and well-wishers for their humanitarian care and support.
ದಿನಾಂಕ 18.02.2024 ರಂದು ಬಂಟ್ವಾಳ ತಾಲೂಕಿನ ನಾವುರ ಮೈಂದಾಳದ ರೇವತಿ ಪೂಜಾರಿ ಅವರಿಗೆ ನಿರ್ಮಿಸಿದ ನೂತನ ಮನೆಯ ಉದ್ಗಾಟನಾ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮ ನಡೆಯಿತು. ಸಮಾಜ ಸೇವಕರಾದ ಮೋಹನ್ ದಾಸ್ ಮರಕಡ ಮತ್ತು ಅವರ ತಂಡ ಅಂತೆಯೇ ಉದಾರ ಮಸಸ್ಸಿನ ದಾನಿಗಳ ಸಹಾಯದಿಂದ ಪೂರ್ಣಗೊಂಡ ಈ ಯೋಜನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಮ್ಮ ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯ ಪ್ರಮುಖ ಪಾತ್ರವಿರುದು ಒಂದು ಹೆಮ್ಮೆಯ ವಿಷಯವಾಗಿದೆ.
ವಾಸಿಸಲು ಮನೆಯಿಲ್ಲದೆ ಕಷ್ಟಪಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದ ರೇವತಿ ಪೂಜಾರಿಯವರಿಗೆ ಮೋಹನ್ ದಾಸ್ ಮರಕಡರವರು ಒಂದು ತಾತ್ಕಾಲಿಕ ಶೆಡ್ ನಿರ್ಮಿಸಿದ್ದರು ಆದರೆ ಅದು ಶಿಥಿಲಗೊಂಡು ಕುಸಿದಾಗ, ಒಂದು ಶಾಶ್ವತ ಮನೆಯನ್ನು ನಿರ್ಮಿಸುವ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ಕೆ ಪಣತೊಟ್ಟಿದ್ದರು. ಊರ ಮತ್ತು ಪರಊರ ಉದಾರ ಮಸಸ್ಸಿನ ದಾನಿಗಳ ಸಹಾಯದಿಂದ ಈ ಯೋಜನೆಯನ್ನು ಪೂರೈಸಿದರು ಅಂತೆಯೆ ಈ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ಕೆ ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯವು ದಾನಿಗಳಾದ ಶ್ರೀ ಮೈಕೆಲ್ ಡಿ ಸೋಜಾ, ಶ್ರೀ ನಾರ್ಬರ್ಟ್ ಡಿ ಸೋಜಾ, ಶ್ರೀ ಭೋಪಣ್ಣ, ಶ್ರೀ ಜೆರಾಲ್ಡ್ ಡಿ ಸೋಜಾ, ಬೆನ್ನಿ ದುಬೈ ಮತ್ತು ಶ್ರೀ ನವೀನ್ ಜಾಕ್ಸನ್ ಅವರಿಂದ ಬೆಂಬಲವನ್ನು ಪಡೆಯುವ ಮೂಲಕ ಸುಮಾರು 3,29,000 ರೂಪಾಯಿಗಳನ್ನು ಸಂಗ್ರಹಿಸಿ ಅಂತಿಮ ಹಂತದಲ್ಲಿ ನಿರ್ಮಾಣ ಕಾರ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ಪೂರ್ಣಗೊಳಿಸಿತು.
ಈ ಗ್ರಹ ಪ್ರವೇಶ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮಕ್ಕೆ ಶ್ರೀ ಜಗದೀಶ್ ರಾಮ, ಆಟೋಮೇಷನ್ ಕ್ಲೌಡ್ ಸೊಲ್ಯೂಷನ್ಸ್ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷರು; ಫೋಕಸ್ ಕನ್‌ಸ್ಟ್ರಕ್ಷನ್‌ನ ಮಾಲೀಕರಾದ ಶ್ರೀ ನವಾಜ್ ಅಡ್ಡೂರ್; ಗ್ರಾ.ಪಂ.ಮಾಜಿ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷ ಉಮೇಶ ನಾವೂರ, ಗ್ರಾ.ಪಂ. ಶ್ರೀ ಸುನಿಲ್ ಮೆಂಡೋನ್ಜಾ, ಹೆಲ್ಪಿಂಗ್ ಫ್ರೆಂಡ್ಸ್ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷರು, ಇಸ್ರೇಲ್; ಉದ್ಯಮಿ ಸದಾನಂದ ಬಂಗೇರ; ಗೃಹಪ್ರವೇಶ ಸಮಾರಂಭದಲ್ಲಿ ಯುವವಾಹಿನಿ ಮಹಿಳಾ ಘಟಕದ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷೆ ಶುಭಾ ರಾಜೇಂದ್ರ, ಜೋಸೆಫ್ ಕ್ರಾಸ್ತಾ-ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯ ಚಾರಿಟೇಬಲ್ ಟ್ರಸ್ಟ್ ಸಂಸ್ಥಾಪಕ, ಮೋಹನ್ ದಾಸ್ ಮರಕಡ ಸೇರಿದಂತೆ ಅನೇಕ ಗಣ್ಯರು ಉಪಸ್ಥಿತರಿದ್ದರು.
ಈ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ಕೆ ಪ್ರಮುಖವಾಗಿ ಸಹಕರಿಸಿದ ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯದ ಸಂಸ್ಥಾಪಕರಾದ ಸಹೋದರ ಜೋಸೆಫ್ ಕ್ರಾಸ್ತಾರವರು ಮನೆಯ ಬೀಗದ ಕೈಯನ್ನು ಹಸ್ತಾಂತರಿಸಿದರು ಅಂತೆಯೆ ಅವರನ್ನು ಅಲ್ಲಿ ನೆರೆದ ಗಣ್ಯರ ಸಮ್ಮುಖದಲ್ಲಿ ಸನ್ಮಾನಿಸಲಾಯಿತು.
ತಮ್ಮ ಕನಸಿನ ಮನೆಯನ್ನು ನನಸಾಗಿಸಿಕೊಂಡ ಪೂಜಾರಿ ಕುಟುಂಬವು ಅತೀವ ಸಂತಸವನ್ನು ವ್ಯಕ್ತಪಡಿಸಿತು, ಈ ಕನಸನ್ನು ನನಸಾಗಿಸಲು ಸಹಕರಿಸಿದ ಸಮಸ್ತ ಹಿತೈಷಿಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ದಾನಿಗಳಿಗೆ ತುಂಬು ಹೃದಯದ ಕೃತಜ್ನತೆಯನ್ನು ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಿತು.
