On 18.10.2023, an individual named Baby was rescued and subsequently admitted to the Snehalaya Psychosocial Rehabilitation Centre by the authorities of Sakhi One Stop Centre Udupi, with the assistance of Mr. Ramdas Palan, a social worker.
At the time of admission, Baby was grappling with mental health issues. However, through the care and treatment she received at Snehalaya, her condition improved significantly. The concerted efforts of the Snehalaya and Shraddha teams played a crucial role in identifying her address.
On 29.01.2024, Baby was successfully reunited with her family in Bhojpur, Bihar. The family expressed immense joy upon seeing her in this recovered condition. According to them, she had been suffering from mental illness for the past seven years and had been missing from home for the last year.
The team provided a two-month supply of medication, and the family extended their heartfelt gratitude to both Snehalaya and Shraddha centres for their selfless service in reuniting Baby with her family.
ದಿನಾಂಕ 18.10.2023ರಂದು ಉಡುಪಿಯ ಸಖಿ ಒನ್ ಸ್ಟಾಪ್ ಸೆಂಟರ್ ಇದರ ಸಿಬ್ಬಂದಿಗಳು ಬೇಬಿ ಎಂಬ ಮಹಿಳೆಯನ್ನು ಸಮಾಜ ಸೇವಕರಾದ ರಾಮದಾಸ್ ಪಾಲನ್ ಅವರ ಸಹಾಯದೊಂದಿಗೆ ರಕ್ಷಿಸಿ ಹೆಚ್ಚಿನ ಆರೈಕೆ ಮತ್ತು ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆಗಾಗಿ ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯ ಮಾನಸಿಕ ಅಸ್ವಸ್ಥರ ಪುನರ್ವಸತಿ ಕೆಂದ್ರಕ್ಕೆ ದಾಖಲಿಸಿದರು.
ದಾಖಲಾತಿಯ ಸಮಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಮಾನಸಿಕ ಅಸ್ವಸ್ಥತೆಯಿಂದ ಬಳಲುತಿದ್ದ ಬೇಬಿ ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯದ ಆರೈಕೆಯಿಂದ ತನ್ನ ಆರೋಗ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಕ್ರಮೇಣ ಸಧಾರಣೆ ಕಂಡುಕೊಂಡಳು ಮತ್ತು ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯ ಮತ್ತು ಶ್ರದ್ಧಾ ತಂಡದ ಕಠಿಣ ಪರಿಶ್ರಮದಿಂದ ಆಕೆಯ ವಿಳಾಸವನ್ನು ಪತ್ತೆಹಚ್ಚಲು ಸಾಧ್ಯವಾಯಿತು.
ದಿನಾಂಕ 29.01.2024ರಂದು ಬಿಹಾರದ ಭೋಜ್‌ಪುರದಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಆಕೆಯ ಕುಟುಂಬದೊಂದಿಗೆ ಪುನರ್ಮಿಲನವಾಯಿತು. ಒಂದು ವರ್ಷದ ಬಳಿಕ ಮನೆಗೆ ಮರಳಿಬಂದ ಬೇಬಿಯನ್ನು ನೋಡಿ ಕುಟುಂಬಿಕರು ಸಂತೋಷದ ಕಣ್ಣೀರಿಟ್ಟರು. ಆಕೆಯ ಕುಟುಂಬದವರ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಬೇಬಿ ಕಳೆದ ಸುಮಾರು ಏಳು ವರ್ಷದಿಂದ ಮಾನಸಿಕ ಸಮಸ್ಯೆಯಿಂದ ಬಳಲುತಿದ್ದು, ಸುಮಾರು ಒಂದು ವರ್ಷದ ಹಿಂದೆ ಇದ್ದಕಿದ್ದಂತೆ ಮನೆಯಿಂದ ನಾಪತ್ತೆಯಾಗಿದ್ದಳು.
ಶ್ರದ್ದಾ ತಂಡವು ಆಕೆಗೆ ಎರಡು ತಿಂಗಳ ಔಷಧಿಯನ್ನು ನೀಡಿತು. ಈ ಪುನರ್ಮಿಲನ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ಕೆ ಸಹಕರಿಸಿದ ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯ ಮತ್ತು ಶ್ರದ್ಧಾ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಗಳಿಗೆ ಕುಟುಂಬಿಕರು ತಮ್ಮ ಹೃದಯಾಂತರಾಳದ ಕೃತಜ್ನತೆಗಳನ್ನು ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಿದರು.
