On August 21, 2023, a person named Aridh, who was wandering on the streets of Pacchanady, Mangalore, was rescued and subsequently admitted to the Snehalaya Psycho-Social Rehabilitation Centre for men. The rescue operation was conducted by Mr. Prakash Pinto, our trustee, and Mr. Rudy Pinto, a Social worker.
After receiving suitable treatment for his mental illness, his condition started to improve. In one of the counseling sessions, he provided some details about his family. For the further reunion process, he was transferred to Shraddha Mumbai.
On November 20, 2023, he was reunited with his family in Mallikpur, West Bengal. His family was overjoyed and emotional to see him after a long gap of 1 year. According to the family, Aridh had been suffering from mental illness for the past 4 years. The family members searched for him and also lodged a police complaint but did not find him. The Shraddha team provided him with a 2-month medicine and treatment plan.
The family expressed their gratitude to both Snehalaya and Shraddha centres for their selfless service towards mankind.
ದಿನಾಂಕ 21/08/2023ರಂದು ಸುಮಾರು 45 ವರ್ಷ ಪ್ರಾಯದ ಆರಿದ್ ಎಂಬ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿಯನ್ನು ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯದ ಟ್ರಸ್ಟಿಯಾದ ಶ್ರೀ ಪ್ರಕಾಶ್ ಪಿಂಟೋ ಹಾಗೂ ಸಮಾಜ ಸೇವಕರಾದ ಶ್ರೀ ರೂಡಿ ಪಿಂಟೋರವರು ಮಂಗಳೂರಿನ ಪಚ್ಚನಾಡಿಯ ರೈಲ್ವೆ ಸೇತುವೆಯ ಬಳಿಯಿಂದ ರಕ್ಷಿಸಿ, ಮಂಜೇಶ್ವರದ ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯ ಮಾನಸಿಕರ ಅಸ್ವಸ್ಥರ ಪುನರ್ವಸತಿ ಕೇಂದ್ರಕ್ಕೆ ದಾಖಲಿಸಿದರು.
ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯದಲ್ಲಿ ದೊರೆತ ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆ ಮತ್ತು ಆರೈಕೆಯಿಂದ ಆತನ ಮಾನಸಿಕ ಆರೋಗ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಕ್ರಮೇಣ ಸುಧಾರಣೆ ಕಂಡು ಬಂತು ಅಂತೆಯೆ ಆಪ್ತ ಸಮಾಲೋಚನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಆತ ತನ್ನ ಕುಟುಂಬದ ವಿವರಗಳನ್ನು ಹಂಚಿಕೊಂಡನು. ಮುಂದಿನ ಪುನರ್ಮಿಲನ ಪ್ರಕ್ರಿಯೆಗಾಗಿ ಆತನ್ನು ಮುಂಬೈಯ ಶ್ರದ್ದಾ ಕೇಂದ್ರಕ್ಕೆ ವರ್ಗಾಯಿಸಲಾಯಿತು.
ದಿನಾಂಕ 20.11.2023ರಂದು ಪಶ್ಚಿಮ ಬಂಗಾಳದ ಮಲ್ಲಿಕಪುರದಲ್ಲಿರುವ ತನ್ನ ಕುಟುಂಬದೊಂದಿಗೆ ಆತನ ಪುನರ್ಮಿಲನವಾಯಿತು. ಒಂದು ವರ್ಷದ ಬಳಿಕ ಆರಿದ್ ಮರಳಿದ್ದು ನೋಡಿ ಕುಟುಂಬಿಕರು ಭಾವುಕರಾದರು ಮತ್ತು ಸಂತೋಷಪಟ್ಟರು. ಕುಟುಂಬದ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಆರಿದ್ ಕಳೆದ ನಾಲ್ಕು ವರ್ಷಗಳಿಂದ ಮಾನಸಿಕ ಅಸ್ವಸ್ಥತೆಯಿಂದ ಬಳಲುತಿದ್ದು ಒಂದು ದಿನ ಹೇಳದೆ ಮನೆಯಿಂದ ನಾಪತ್ತೆಯಾಗಿದ್ದನು. ಶ್ರದ್ಧಾ ತಂಡವು ಆತನಿಗೆ ಎರಡು ತಿಂಗಳ ಔಷಧಿ ಮತ್ತು ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸಾ ಯೋಜನೆಯನ್ನು ಒದಗಿಸಿತು. ಕುಟುಂಬದವರು ಈ ಪುನರ್ಮಿಲನ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ಕೆ ಸಹಕರಿಸಿದ ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯ ಮತ್ತು ಶ್ರದ್ಧಾ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಗಳಿಗೆ ತುಂಬು ಹೃದಯ ಕೃತಜ್ಞತೆಗಳನ್ನು ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಿದರು.
