ದಿನಾಂಕ 24.01.2024ರಂದು ಮಂಗಳೂರಿನ ಸೆಂಟ್ರಲ್ ರೈಲ್ವೆ ನಿಲ್ದಾಣದ ಪ್ಲಾಟ್ ಫಾರಂನಲ್ಲಿ ಅಲೆದಾಡುತಿದ್ದ ಪದ್ಮಾವತಿ ಎಂಬ ಮಹಿಳೆಯನ್ನು ರೈಲ್ವೆ ಪೋಲಿಸರಿಂದ ದೊರೆತ ಮಾಹಿತಿಯ ಮೇರೆಗೆ, ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯದ ಟ್ರಸ್ಟಿಯಾದ ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಒಲಿವಿಯಾ ಕ್ರಾಸ್ತಾರವರು ಅವರ ತಂಡದೊಂದಿಗೆ  ರಕ್ಷಿಸಿ ಮಂಜೇಶ್ವರದ ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯ ಮಾನಸಿಕ ಅಸ್ವಸ್ಥರ ಪುನರ್ವಸತಿ ಕೇಂದ್ರಕ್ಕೆ ದಾಖಲಿಸಿದರು.

ರೋಗಿಯು ಮಾನಸಿಕ ಅಸ್ವಸ್ಥತೆಯಿಂದ ಬಳಲುತಿದ್ದು ಅತಿಯಾದ ಮಾತುಕತೆ ಮುಂತಾದ ಮಾನಸಿಕ ಲಕ್ಷಣಗಳನ್ನು ಹೊಂದಿದ್ದಾಳೆ. ಆಕೆ ತಮಿಳು ಭಾಷೆ ಮಾತನಾಡುತಿದ್ದು ತನ್ನ ಊರು ತಮಿಳುನಾಡಿನ ಸೇಲಂ ಎನ್ನುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾಳೆ ಅಂತೆಯೆ ತನ್ನ ಪೋಷಕರ ಹೆಸರು ದಿವಂಗತ ಗೋವಿಂದರಾಜು ಮತ್ತು ಜಿ ಮಣಿಮೇಘಲಾ ಎನ್ನುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾಳೆ.
