A woman named Sunitha, along with her daughter Ekta Pavani, was rescued from the streets of Kumbla by the Pink Police of Kasaragod district. After facing challenges, including multiple attempts to admit them to various orphanages, and with the assistance of the “Sakhi project” officials, they finally found refuge in Snehalaya—a better place for their care and treatment.
Receiving excellent care and treatment at Snehalaya, their condition improved significantly. The Snehalaya team, with the help of Shraddha Mumbai, successfully located their address. Sunitha’s husband, Samar Bahadhur, pledged to bring them back home as soon as possible.
On 15.01.2024, the long-awaited reunion occurred at Snehalaya. Samar traveled all the way from Rai Bareilly in Uttar Pradesh to take his daughter and wife back to their native place. Overjoyed to see them in an improved condition, Samar expressed his happiness. Bro Joseph Crasta, the founder of Snehalaya, extended his best wishes for their well-being and a brighter future.
The family conveyed their gratitude to the staff of Snehalaya, especially the women wing staff, for their dedicated support.
ದಿನಾಂಕ 02.10.2023 ರಂದು ಕೇರಳ ಸರ್ಕಾರದ “ಸಖಿ”ಯೋಜನೆಯ ಸರ್ಕಾರಿ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಸ್ಥಳೀಯ ಮಕ್ಕಳ ಕಲ್ಯಾಣ ಸಮಿತಿಯ (CWC) ನೆರವಿನೊಂದಿಗೆ ಓರ್ವ ದುರ್ಬಲ ತಾಯಿ(ಸುನಿತಾ) ಮತ್ತು ಅವಳ ಮಗು(ಏಕ್ತಾ ಪಾವನಿ)ಯರಿಗೆ ಮಂಜೇಶ್ವರದ ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯ ಮಾನಸಿಕ ಅಸ್ವಸ್ಥರ ಪುನರ್ವಸತಿ ಕೇಂದ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ಆಶ್ರಯವನ್ನು ನೀಡಲಾಯಿತು.ತಾಯಿ ಮತ್ತು ಮಗು ತೊಂದರೆಯಲ್ಲಿರುವುದನ್ನು ಗಮನಿಸಿ ಕುಂಬಳದ ಸ್ಥಳೀಯ ನಾಗರಿಕರು ತಕ್ಷಣವೇ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಮಾಹಿತಿ ನೀಡಿದರು. ಮಾನಸಿಕ ಆರೋಗ್ಯ ಮತ್ತು ಪುನರ್ವಸತಿಯೊಂದಿಗೆ ದುರ್ಬಲ ಮಹಿಳೆಯರಿಗೆ ಸಹಾಯ ಮಾಡುವ ಪರಿಣತಿಗೆ ಹೆಸರುವಾಸಿಯಾದ ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯ, ಅವರಿಗೆ ನಿಲ್ಲಲು ಸುರಕ್ಷಿತ ಆಶ್ರಯ ನೀಡಿತು.
ಇಲ್ಲಿ ಬರುವ ಮೊದಲು ಈ ತಾಯಿ ಮಗು ಅನ್ಯ ಆಶ್ರಮಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಆಶ್ರಯ ಪಡೆದಿದ್ದರು ಆದರೆ ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯದ ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆ ಮತ್ತು ಉಪಚಾರದ ಫಲವಾಗಿ ಅವರ ವಿಳಾಸವನ್ನು ಪತ್ತೆ ಹಚ್ಚಲು ಸಾಧ್ಯವಾಯಿತು. ಅವರ ಕುಟುಂಬವನ್ನು ಸಂಪರ್ಕಿಸಿದಾಗ ಸುನಿತಾಳ ಪತಿ ಸಮರ್ ಬಹಾದೂರ್ ಅತೀ ಶಿಘ್ರವಾಗಿ ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯಕ್ಕೆ ಬರುವ ಅಶ್ವಾಸನೆ ನೀಡಿದರು.
ಇಂದು ದಿನಾಂಕ 15.01.2024 ರಂದು ದೂರದ ಉತ್ತರ ಪ್ರದೇಶದ ರಾಯ್ ಬರೇಲಿಯಿಂದ, ಮಂಜೇಶ್ವರಕ್ಕೆ ಆಗಮಿಸಿದ ತಂದೆ, ತಾಯಿ ಮತ್ತು ಮಗುವನ್ನು ಹಿಂಪಡೆದು ಅತ್ಯಂತ ಸಂತೋಷಪಟ್ಟರು. ಈ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ಕೆ ಸಹಕರಿಸಿದ ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯ ಮತ್ತು ಶ್ರದ್ದಾ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಗಳಿಗೆ ತುಂಬು ಹೃದಯದ ಕೃತಜ್ನತೆಗಳನ್ನು ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಿದರು.
