On July 3, 2023, a person named Ajay, aged 30 years, was rescued from the streets of Byndoor by local Police. He had been wandering aimlessly, and during the inquiry, it was discovered that he was suffering from a mental illness. As a result, he was admitted to the Snehalaya Psycho Social Rehabilitation Centre for Men.
After receiving necessary care and treatment at Snehalaya, he began to share information about his whereabouts. For further reunion processes, he was transferred to Shraddha Mumbai.
On October 24, 2023, he was reunited with his family in Indapur, Pune. His brother received him, and according to his family, Ajay had been missing for the past two years, suffering from mental illness due to some family problems and receiving treatment at a local hospital in Pune. His family was overjoyed to see him back after a long gap. Ajay was provided with two months’ worth of medicines and a treatment plan. The family expressed their gratitude to Shraddha and Snehalaya Centres for their dedicated service towards the downtrodden and poor.
ದಿನಾಂಕ 03.07.2023 ಉಡುಪಿ ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಯ ಬೈಂದೂರಿನ ರಸ್ತೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಅಲೆದಾಡುತಿದ್ದ ಸುಮಾರು 30ವರ್ಷ ಅಜಯ್ ಎಂಬ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿಯನ್ನು ಬೈಂದೂರು ಪೋಲಿಸರು ರಕ್ಶಿಸಿ,ಮಂಜೇಶ್ವರದ ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯ ಮಾನಸಿಕ ಅಸ್ವಸ್ಥರ ಪುನರ್ವಸತಿ ಕೇಂದ್ರಕ್ಕೆ ದಾಖಲಿಸಿದರು. ರೋಗಿಯು ಮಾನಸಿಕ ಕಾಯಿಲೆಯಿಂದ ಬಳಲುತ್ತಿದ್ದ ಮತ್ತು ತಂಬಾಕು ಪದಾರ್ಥಗಳ ಸೇವನೆಯಂತಹ ದುರಾಭ್ಯಾಸವನ್ನು ಹೊಂದಿದ್ದನು.
ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯದಲ್ಲಿ ದೊರೆತ ಅವಶ್ಯಕ ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆ ಮತ್ತು ಆರೈಕೆಯಿಂದಾಗಿ ಆತನ ಆರೋಗ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಕ್ರಮೇಣ ಸುಧಾರಣೆ ಕಂಡುಬಂತು ಮತ್ತು ಆತ ಆಪ್ತ ಸಮಾಲೋಚನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ತನ್ನ ಕುಟುಂಬದ ವಿವರಗಳನ್ನು ಹಂಚಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲು ಪ್ರಾರಂಭಿಸಿದನು. ಮುಂದಿನ ಪುನರ್ಮಿಲನ ಪ್ರಕ್ರಿಯೆಗಾಗಿ ಆತನನ್ನು ಮುಂಬೈಯ ಶ್ರದ್ಧಾ ಕೇಂದ್ರಕ್ಕೆ ವರ್ಗಾಯಿಸಲಾಯಿತು.
ದಿನಾಂಕ 24.10.2023 ರಂದು ಪುಣೆಯ ಇಂದಾಪುರದಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಕುಟುಂಬದೊಂದಿಗೆ ಆತನ ಪುನರ್ಮಿಲನವಾಯಿತು. ಆತನ ಸಹೋದರ ಅಜಯ್ ಗೆ ಆದರದಿಂದ ಸ್ವಾಗತಿಸಿದನು. ಕುಟುಂಬದವರು ಹೇಳುವ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಅಜಯ್ ಕಳೆದ 2 ವರ್ಷ ಮನೆಯಿಂದ ನಾಪತ್ತೆಯಗಿದ್ದನು, ಆತನು ಕುಟುಂಬದಲ್ಲಾದ ಯಾವುದೇ ಒಂದು ಸಮಸ್ಯೆಯಿಂದ ಮಾನಸಿಕ ರೋಗಕ್ಕೆ ತುತ್ತಾಗಿದ್ದನು ಮತ್ತು ಸ್ಥಳಿಯ ಆಸ್ಪತ್ರೆಯಿಂದ ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆ ಪಡೆಯುತಿದ್ದನು. ಆತನ ಕುಟುಂಬದವರು ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯ ಮತ್ತು ಶ್ರದ್ಧಾ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಗಳಿಗೆ ತುಂಬು ಹೃದಯದ ಕೃತಜ್ನತೆಗಳನ್ನು ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಿದರು. ಶ್ರದ್ಧಾ ತಂಡವು ಅಜಯ್ ಗೆ 2 ತಿಂಗಳ ಔಷಧಿ ಮತ್ತು ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸಾ ಯೋಜನೆಯನ್ನು ಒದಗಿಸಿತು.
