On the 6th of July 2023, a person named Anand, approximately 46 years of age, was rescued from the streets of Kashibettu, Ujire by our dedicated trustees, Mr. Sharath Santhosh Pinto and Mrs. Josliya Crasta, with the assistance of Mr. Stephan. Anand, who was visibly affected by mental illness and clad in tattered attire, was promptly admitted to the Snehalaya Psycho-Social Rehabilitation Centre for Men to receive the necessary care and treatment.
Under the compassionate care and treatment provided at Snehalaya, Anand’s condition improved significantly. He began to open up about his past, enabling the facilitation of the reunion process. Consequently, he was shifted to Shraddha Mumbai.
On the 21st of November 2023, Anand experienced a heartwarming reunion with his family in Ranchi, Jharkhand. After an astonishing 30-year gap, his return surprised and delighted both his family and the villagers. Anand’s brother revealed that he had once been in love with a young woman, and due to familial objections, he had developed mental health issues. The Shraddha team extended two months’ worth of medicines and a comprehensive treatment plan to support his recovery.
The entire family expressed profound gratitude to both Snehalaya and Shraddha centers for their selfless and invaluable service in reuniting Anand with his loved ones and restoring happiness to their lives.
ದಿನಾಂಕ 06.07.2023ರಂದು ಉಜಿರೆಯ ಕಾಶಿಬೆಟ್ಟುವಿನ ರಸ್ತೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಅಲೆದಾಡುತಿದ್ದ ಸುಮಾರು 46 ವರ್ಷ ವಯಸ್ಸಿನ ಆನಂದ್ ಎಂಬ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿಯನ್ನು ನಮ್ಮ ಟ್ರಸ್ಟಿಗಳಾದ ಶ್ರೀ ಶರತ್ ಸಂತೋಷ್ ಪಿಂಟೋ ಮತ್ತು ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಜೋಸ್ಲಿಯಾ ಕ್ರಾಸ್ತಾ ಅವರು ಶ್ರೀ ಸ್ಟೀಫನ್ ಮೊಂತೆರೊ ಅವರ ಸಹಾಯದೊಂದಿಗೆ ರಕ್ಷಿಸಿ ಅಗತ್ಯ ಆರೈಕೆ ಮತ್ತು ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆಗಾಗಿ ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯ ಮಾನಸಿಕರ ಪುನರ್ವಸತಿ ಕೇಂದ್ರಕ್ಕೆ ಸೇರಿಸಿದರು.
ಮಾನಸಿಕ ಸಮಸ್ಯೆಯಿಂದ ಬಳಲುತಿದ್ದ ಆನಂದ್ ಗೆ ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯದಲ್ಲಿ ದೊರೆತ ಉತ್ತಮ ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆ ಮತ್ತು ಆಪ್ತ ಸಮಾಲೋಚೆಯಿಂದ ಆರೋಗ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಸುಧಾರಣೆ ಕಂಡುಬಂತು ಅಂತೆಯೇ ಆತ ತನ್ನ ಕುಟುಂಬದ ವಿವರಗಳನ್ನು ಹಂಚಿಕೊಂಡನು. ಮುಂದಿನ ಪುನರ್ಮಿಲನ ಪ್ರಕ್ರಿಯೆಗಾಗಿ ಆತನನ್ನು ಮುಂಬೈಯ ಶ್ರದ್ಧಾ ಕೇಂದ್ರಕ್ಕೆ ವರ್ಗಾಯಿಸಲಾಯಿತು.
ದಿನಾಂಕ 21.11.2023ರಂದು ಜಾರ್ಖಂಡ್ ರಾಜ್ಯದ ರಾಂಚಿಯಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಆತನ ಕುಟುಂಬದೊಂದಿಗೆ 30ವರ್ಷದ ಬಳಿಕ ಆತನ ಪುನರ್ಮಿಲನವಾಯಿತು. ಆತನನ್ನು ಇಷ್ಟು ವರ್ಷದ ಬಳಿಕ ಹಿಂತಿರುಗಿದ್ದನ್ನು ನೋಡಿ ಕುಟುಂಬ ಮತ್ತು ಗ್ರಾಮದವರು ಖುಷಿಪಟ್ಟರು. ಆತನ ಸಹೋದರನು ಹೇಳುವ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಆನಂದ್ ಪ್ರೀತಿಯ ವಿಚಾರದಲ್ಲಾದ ಕೆಲವು ಸಮಸ್ಯೆಗಳಿಂದ ಮಾನಸಿಕ ರೋಗಕ್ಕೆ ತುತ್ತಾಗಿದ್ದನು. ಶ್ರದ್ದಾ ತಂಡವು ಆತನಿಗೆ 2 ತಿಂಗಳ ಔಷಧಿ ಮತ್ತು ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸಾ ಯೋಜನೆಯನ್ನು ಒದಗಿಸಿತು.
ಈ ಪುನರ್ಮಿಲನದ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ಕೆ ನಿಸ್ವಾರ್ಥವಾಗಿ ಸೇವೆ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಿದ ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯ ಮತ್ತು ಶ್ರದ್ಧಾ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಗಳಿಗೆ ತುಂಬು ಹೃದಯದ ಕೃತಜ್ನತೆ ಗಳನ್ನು ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಿತು.
